Kogge Metuge (2022) | 5’10 DT | Concordia Prep
Metuge had a very strong performance. He was fantastic in the run game. He was able to deal with double teams and still plug his gap. He also was able to beat blockers one on one and get into the backfield. He also showed an ability to make a play on the ball carrier while still being engaged on a block. He showed good hands and has a multitude of moves. Metuge will be a big player at the DII level.
Jamari Young (2022) | 6’1 LB | Bullis
Young was a very fun player to watch. He was flying around. He showed sideline to sideline range. He also did a great job of shooting through gaps and making plays in the backfield. He showed his athleticism and his ability to drop back into coverage. He was a very good tackler and limited missed tackles and yards after contact. Young was a star and will be a very good player at the next level.
Derrick Brown (2022) | 6’3 DE | Friendly
Brown was an athletic edge rusher. He showed quickness off the ball. He also showed an ability to play with a low pad level. He also showed an ability to get skinny. His quickness off the ball made him an effective pass rusher. He also used his hands to keep blockers off of him in the passing game. In the run game, he attacked the blockers outside shoulder and was able to set the edge. Brown has the athletic tools to be a force at the next level.
Andrew Rheubottom (2022) | 6’2 LB | Milford Mill
Rheubottom showed off his versatility. He can be a backer than can run sideline to sideline. He also showed that he can get downfield and be a good run stopper. Where he really impressed was in pass coverage. He was very good in coverage. He can stuff the run and play the pass. He is an every-down backer that can do it all. Rheubottom is a very good all-around player.
