Jim Fitzgerald (2022) | 6’7 T | Archbishop Spalding
Fitzgerald was the best offensive lineman on Team Maryland. He looked really good in pass protection. He had good feet and was able to deal with the speed of Team Pennsylvania’s edge rushers. In the run game, he looked extremely mobile. He was very effective as a pulling tackle. He was strong in the screen game as well. He knows how to get downfield and block at the second level. Fitzgerald was fantastic, Penn State will be very happy to know they are getting a very high-quality walk-on.
Josh Elrich (2022) | 6’0 QB | Broadneck
Elrich showed that he has the ability to be a true dual-threat quarterback at the next level. In the passing game, he was efficient on quick throws near the line of scrimmage. He also showed a willingness to push the ball vertically downfield. He showed that he has a strong arm. He was also very effective in running the football as he led Team Maryland in rushing. He showed great pocket presence and was able to sense pressure step up in the pocket and take off and get yards on the ground. Elrich is talented and will be playing for Marist this fall.
Jayce Freeman (2022) | 6’4 WR | Wicomico
Freeman is a dynamic athlete. He has great speed. He was able to get in behind the defense multiple times by just using his track speed. He was also a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He is tough to bring down with the ball in his hands. His speed and explosiveness caused problems for defenders in open space. He also has moves to make guys miss. Freeman will be joining a talented St. Francis team.
Terez Worthy (2022) | 6’0 ATH | Parkside
Worthy was an explosive player. He didn’t have much production on the offensive side of the ball but that didn’t stop him from making an impact on the game. In the return game, he was very dangerous and made big plays. He broke tackles and showed great vision. He also showed he has one cut ability and has the ability to run North and South. Worthy can make big plays and have an impact on a game in many ways.
