Sacks get all the glory but I believe Tackles for loss to be a very underrated statistic to show how effective a player is at being disruptive. Because lets be honest, a quarterback can scrabble and throw a ball away before you get to count a sack. Running back don’t throw a ball away to avoid a TFL, so if you wanna know how much chaos a player really causes, TFLs is the way to go for me.
Kye Pressley Kye Pressley 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Hammonton | 2023 State NJ , Jr., DL, Hammonton (formerly Camden Catholic)
To an offensive line coach, Kye Pressley Kye Pressley 6'2" | 205 lbs | DL Hammonton | 2023 State NJ is simply chaos in cleats.
While his stats are impressive they just don’t do the film justice. Kye was 4th among all juniors in the state with 11 sacks, but he also had 17 QB hurries and 8 passes deflected. His film shows elite speed off the edge combined with exceptional pass rush skills that are fit for every occasion. The hands swipes, the spin move, the bull rush, it’s all there. Plus the way he times his jumps to get into passing lanes just frustrates the hell out of any attempts at a passing game. He has speed to the sideline on the frontside and flattens out and trails with the best of them on backside pursuit. Don’t just take my word for it, watch the film for your self. Oh and take the word of the 10 D1 offers he already has from teams like Duke, Delaware, Stony Brook, James Madison and West Point!

Chris Wright, Jr., DL, Pleasantville
Chris had 70 solo tackles at Nose Guard, 26 TFLs and 10 sacks. Basically his film is 6 minutes of nobody being able to block this guy. Powerful and explosive, he plays with great leverage enabling him to get under, around and just plain past centers and guards. For you old heads, he reminds me of Dwight Freeney, who was undersized on the Colts D Line but was so effective it didn’t matter. Chris shows great hand fighting technique with a nice swim move and is also able to spin off blockers who don’t have the foot speed to stay in front of him. He’s also tenacious in his pursuit, brining 240 pounds of pain with him when he tracks down ball carriers. Looking forward to him causing more havoc in his senior year.

London Robinson, Jr., DL, St. Peter’s Prep
London is incredibly versatile. He’s big and strong enough to hold up in the run against offensive tackles, yet fast enough to chase down running backs from a stand up outside linebacker spot. Many disruptive players are also undisciplined, but London is exceptional at holding the edge to keep the integrity of the defense and then pursuing ball carriers to the sideline for little or no gain. London is a certified Chaos Bringer in the backfield as he produced 10 sacks and 22 TFLs last season while being part of a DL bring back 3 Division 1 prospects for the 2023 class. London has already received D1 offers from Richmond, Brown, Bryant, Lafayette, Colgate and Holy Cross.
