TE Amareus Walker – 6’6″ 220 / Irving MacArthur HS — @walllkeerr
Walker looks the part of a big-time collegiate tight end – 6’6″ 210, nice long strides, and a large catch radius. He doesn’t have much film from last season but does have some film from spring ball last month. Is entering just his second season playing the position. At the very least, Amareus should be on your watch list. He could very well have a breakout senior season for the Cardinals.

DE Khai McGhee – 6’2″ 215 / Angleton HS — @KhaiMcGhee
Junior Stats: 53 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, 7 sacks
McGhee plays defensive end for the Wildcats, but I envision his highest ceiling as a stand-up, sub package edge rusher at the college level. He lacks elite explosiveness, but he does a phenomenal job of getting his long arm extended and using power to get into the backfield. His 20 tackles for loss as a junior prove that he knows how to create a problem for offensive tackles.

DE Jaden Allison – 6’3″ 225 / Angleton HS — @Jadenn_Allison
Junior Stats: 40 tackles, 7 TFL, 7 QB Hurries, 3 sacks
Allison wins in the passing game with his explosive first step. He does a nice job of selling outside and forcing linemen to overextend, which allows him to rip inside and get to the quarterback. In the run game, his quick first step gets him into his gap and clogs things up for running backs.

ATH Darius Roberson – 5’9″ 180 / Brazosport HS — @DariusRoberson0
Junior Stats: 1st Team All-District. 124 tackles, 8 TFL, 1 sack.
The 5-foot-9 playmaker lines up at linebacker for the Class 4A Exporters, but he will have to make the move to slot receiver or cornerback at the next level. He has a nose for the football and is always around the action. He uses a quick first step and flies around the field to make plays. Roberson is a tough player who will find a spot on a college roster because of his speed, tenacity, and a clear willingness to win every rep.

DE Christian Scharrer – 6’4″ 240 / Brazosport HS — @ChrisComingUp
A third-year varsity starter, Scharrer has some definite upside as a strongside end. He is a solid, reliable force versus the run, with his strong initial punch and physical style of play. Reaction time can be a bit inconsistent, and explosiveness is an area for improvement, but the soon-to-be senior has a prototypical frame he will surely be able to add 10-15 pounds onto. Because of the raw tools, I could see him playing for a junior college in 2023, polishing some parts of his game. Definitely a lot to like in his game.
