Each were looking to learn from the position coaches and current Nebraska players while trying to raise their eyebrows and get noticed. This article will review who raised my eyebrows on the offensive side of the ball. These players showed great skill and demonstrated some eye catching athleticism during 1 v 1s.
Cody Oswald Cody Oswald 6'3" | 185 lbs | DB Yankton | 2023 State | Yankton High School (Yankton, SD) | WR/FS/SS | 6’3″ 190lbs | Class of 2023
Oswald showed a ton of athleticism during 1 v 1s. He hyped up the current Husker players on multiple plays with his ability to adjust to the ball in the air and create enough separation to make catches. Off the line he does a great job creating space, leaving the defensive back scrambling to make a play. His ball instincts were the most impressive part of his day. Good size, good speed and ability to make plays through contact with high effort. Oswald has all the intangibles to play at the next level and colleges should pay attention.

Jordan Thornton | Chamblee High School (Atlanta, GA) | WR/CB | 5’8″ 175lbs | Class of 2023
I first noticed Thornton in drills. His explosiveness off the line was impressive, like a Tesla he can go from 0-60 in seconds. After watching film, he is the poster child for “Speed Kills”. Used in multiple screen packages and reverse plays, Thornton can take a 10 yard throw and turn it into a 60 yard gain with ease. His small frame can hide him behind blockers and his elusiveness is leaves other seeing blur. During 1 v 1s, defenders had a hard time containing his speed and he made his catches looks easy when the throw was right. Thornton was a must watch whenever he touched the ball on Friday.

Braeden Wulf Braeden Wulf 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Lennox | 2023 State | Lennox High School (Lennox, SD) | QB | 6’2″ 185lbs | Class of 2023
Wulf has a good frame and runs very well for his size. The most impressive part of his game is how effortless his throws look. He has a quick release but he watching him throw with the ease he does, makes you feel like his arm strength is some what untapped. His mobility is bonus and his ability to throw on the run is like getting a raise on top of the bonus. Wulf is name I fully expect to see the near future and someone I will be keeping an eye on in the future.

Alijah Wayne Alijah Wayne 6'4" | 225 lbs | ATH Omaha Central | 2025 State NE | Omaha Central High School (Omaha, NE) | WR/TE/OLB | 6’2″ 185lbs | Class of 2025
I have seen Wayne on the basketball court and the football field, I was impressed both times. His motion is so fluid and smooth. His footwork is already at a high level and he is only going to be a sophomore. During 1 v 1s, Wayne made multiple catches going over the top of defensive backs and just beating defensive backs on slant routes. His frame is tough to deal with, with his broad shoulders and ability to seal defenders from getting a good reach on the ball. The quarterback situation at his high school has to be figured out but I believe Wayne will be a very highly sought out recruit with proper development and growth.

Sebastien Boyle Sebastien Boyle 5'11" | 210 lbs | RB Scottsbluff | 2024 State NE | Scottsbluff High School (Scottsbluff, NE) | RB | 6’0″ 205lbs | Class of 2024
If anyone passes the eye test when you see them, it’s Boyle. Boyle’s metrics are similar to Eziekel Elliot in high school. He has tree trunks for legs and enjoys being in the gym. He is just as explosive as he is strong and has terrific cutting ability and field vision. During the camp, he even showed a strong ability to catch the ball making a couple tough catches that required him to dive. Already one of the top backs in the state of Nebraska, Boyle could establish himself as THE best over the next couple years.

Jackson Jones | Fremont High School (Fremont, NE) | OL | 6’4″ 280lbs | Class of 2025
Jackson’s size caught my eye immediately. When I found him on the chart and saw he was only going to be a sophomore, my eyes gotten even bigger. Jackson slides very well and can easily absorb the physicality that some of the upperclassmen there were bringing. I seen him accept multiple challenges against some talented defensive lineman and win those battles. The Tigers have some big physical young men and Jones should benefit from the multiple reps he will get working with and against them. Look for Jones to make a name for himself this next year as his skill develops to match his size.
