California has had its finalists revealed for some time, but the Elite 11 announced its final list of competitors who will compete in July.
Here are the four quarterbacks from California who will compete in the Elite 11 Finals:
Malachi Nelson Malachi Nelson 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA , Los Alamitos, USC: Nelson is so fun to watch because he is so fluid with his release and makes challenging throws look easy. He is accurate to all levels of the field knows exactly when to fire the ball in there and when to put some air under it. He is a great deep ball thrower and the ball jumps out of his hand. He is a really god athlete and football looks like it comes easy to him. He’s committed to USC and is one of the best quarterback prospects to come out of California in a long time.

Nico Iamaleava Nico Iamaleava 6'5" | 200 lbs | QB Warren | 2023 State CA , Long Beach Poly, Tennessee: Iamaleava is 6-foot-6, 200 pounds and can throw deeper than most quarterbacks with just a flick of the wrist. He’s a really good athlete who can extend plays with his legs and throw well off-platform. He hasn’t been throwing at a ton of camps lately because he is also a college level volleyball player. His arm strength and fluidity should impress everyone at the Elite 11 Finals.

Jaden Rashada Jaden Rashada 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Pittsburg | 2023 State CA , Pittsburg, Uncommitted: Rashada’s stock has risen more than any other quarterback in the state this offseason. Rashada was always a guy who had the tools but he really put it together on the field as a junior for the first time. He threw for 2,220 yards with 27 touchdowns and five interceptions. His arm strength has always been impressive but his accuracy has been a question mark but he appears to have improved on that this offseason. He is one of five uncommitted quarterbacks at the event but will make his decision before the event.

Pierce Clarkson Pierce Clarkson 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , St. John Bosco, Louisville: Clarkson is a true dual threat quarterback who has improved a lot as a passer since arriving at St. John Bosco. He is very accurate on short and intermediate routes. He can drive the ball down the field but sometimes struggles hitting guys in stride on the deep balls but looks great at other times. His delivery is quick and smooth and he almost always makes the right decision with the ball.
