Continue ReadingCollege camp and combine season continues to bring exposure to never before seen prospects that deserve some recognition. With offseason recruiting heating up for the Class of ’23, these are five seniors recruiters should monitor ahead of the 2022 season. In this first June Film Session we’re highlighting two hidden gems from the 8-Man and 6-Man ranks, two Class 5A prospects with a ton of potential, and an athletic corner from Class 4A.
Bradley Bond – Goddard, 6’6”, 285, OL
If recruiters are looking for an offensive tackle with a D-I level frame, then Bradley Bond is their guy. He manned the blind side of Goddard’s offense as a junior and put together some good film. Bond displays just about everything a coach could want from a tackle. In the run game he does a great job of understanding his assignment and can work to the second level, as well as getting up field on pulling plays. His initial step seals off defenders, and he accurately shoots his hands at the opposition’s chest. In the passing game he displays a strong base and uses his long reach to his advantage to neutralize pass rushers. Bond should be a sought-after tackle this season.
Christian Snipes – Andover, 6’0”, 220, ATH
Christian Snipes is a prospect that can line up at multiple positions and have success. With a frame like his you would assume that he’d play linebacker, but he actually saw quite a bit of time along the defensive line for the Trojans in 2021. Snipes wasn’t super explosive off the line, but he did a great job of reading and reacting to the flow of the play. Off the edge was where he did most of his damage. He understood how to set the edge and he’d use his athleticism to bat down passes. Snipes was also an impressive downhill power back. He is not an easy runner to bring down, as it typically takes two or more defenders to wrap him up. It will be exciting to see how Goddard utilizes him this year.
Brock Woolf – Brewster, 6’6”, 245, ATH
This 6-Man product is another prospect capable of playing multiple positions, and will be an intriguing player to watch during the ’22 campaign. His frame presents many options for him. Woolf could potentially add size and play on the offensive line at either guard or tackle, but he also possesses the ideal frame for a defensive end at the next level. However, it appears Woolf is looking to develop as a tight end. This clip of him competing at the Sharp Top Prospect Combine is a small sample size, but it gives a glimpse of his potential. He’d be a huge target in the passing game and would be difficult to bring down in the open field. Woolf has raw talent, but could be a great find for many collegiate programs.
Big thanks to @sharp_spelite, @sportsinkansas and @KansasPregame for the invite to the top prospect event on Thursday! I had a great day and met some amazing people! Thank you. pic.twitter.com/YLYmXVqm5U

Seth LeClair – Clifton-Clyde, 6’3”, 225, DL
Next up is one of the most disruptive edge defenders out of the 8-Man ranks. LeClair enters his senior campaign coming off an All-State and All-League junior year, and should be a candidate for Defensive Player of the Year this season. There is no denying that once he steps on the field, he is arguably one of the best players out there. His combination of quickness and agility makes him difficult to block. In addition to this, he does a great job of using his hands to fight off blockers, and he possesses a high motor that keeps him in constant pursuit of ball carriers. LeClair has the size and intangibles to be a very solid 5-Tech, and he shouldn’t have many issues transitioning to 11-Man football in the future.
Pierce Probasco – Rose Hill, 6’1”, 165, DB
We’re wrapping up this first June Film Session with Pierce Probasco out of Rose Hill. He’s been turning heads during camp season, and should have a breakout year for the Rockets. Probasco is a lengthy corner that thrives in coverage. He displays a clean backpedal and has a smooth transition when flipping his hips to change direction. However, two of his best attributes are his ability to track the ball in the air, and contesting passes by high pointing the ball. Probasco is also a dangerous return man once he gets his hands on the ball. He and Luke McLaughlin Luke McLaughlin 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Rose Hill | 2023 State KS should be one of the top pair of corners in Class 4A this season.
