Here are a dozen of the top in-state performances from the morning and afternoon sessions.
Kylan Billiot — 6-4, 190 WR — Terrebonne (2024)
The tall, long multisport athlete is already ranked among Louisiana’s top 2024 prospects on Prep Hoops and will be so on Prep Redzone as well in this summer’s next update. Billiot was one of a handful of players who stayed late Thursday to participate in some additional more extensive, focused reps in front of key staff members and arguably left as the most impressive of the bunch. He possesses impressive speed and quickness at his size and bounced back from one missed opportunity to haul in every other pass his way.
Omarion Miller Omarion Miller 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR North Caddo | 2023 State LA — 6-2, 195 WR — North Caddo (2023)
Easily the state’s top rising senior prospect in attendance for the event, the one-time LSU commit made some really nice catches downfield in the afternoon camp session and post-camp workout. He missed a couple opportunities in each — a rarity for Titans’ standout who is typically one of the state’s surest-handed pass-catchers — but still showed some flashes of high-level potential. The biggest question will be whether the Tigers turn the heat back up enough to add him to their already-stacked receiving corps, or if he slips out of state to another Power Five.
Keylan Moses Keylan Moses 6'2" | 215 lbs | ATH University Lab | 2025 State LA — 6-1, 215 ATH/LB — University Lab (2025)
The younger brother of former Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses picked up a scholarship offer from LSU’s previous staff during camp last summer and took time amid a busy cross-country June to compete Thursday in front of the new staff. Many of the rising sophomore’s biggest plays this past fall came near or behind the line of scrimmage, but the younger Moses looked great again covering in space during seven-on-seven drills.
Ashton Stamps Ashton Stamps 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Archbishop Rummel | 2023 State LA — 5-11, 160 DB — Rummel (2023)
LSU has been closely monitoring and building a relationship with the fast-rising defensive back for months, and returned to campus for the second or third time in that span Thursday and put together a strong camp showing among the event’s defensive backs.
Harvey Broussard Harvey Broussard 6'4" | 180 lbs | WR St. Martinville | 2023 State LA — 6-4, 180 WR — St. Martinville (2023)
The tall target was one of the day’s top performers on the other side of the ball routing himself open all over the field and racking up a nonstop highlight-reel of catches over the middle or deep down the sideline.
Jai Eugene Jr. Jai Eugene Jr. 6'1" | 175 lbs | ATH Destrehan | 2023 State LA Jr. — 6-1, 175 ATH/DB — Destrehan (2023)
The son of former LSU defensive back Jai Eugene Jr. Jai Eugene Jr. 6'1" | 175 lbs | ATH Destrehan | 2023 State LA was back on the campus he knows well for another workout in front of the Tigers’ new staff before heading next to Houston.
Jackson Bradley Jackson Bradley 6'3" | 200 lbs | QB Oak Grove | 2025 State LA — 6-3, 200 QB — Oak Grove (2025)
The rising sophomore from northeast Louisiana, the son of former Louisiana Tech standout Joshua Bradley, was one of a couple in-state underclassman quarterbacks who had solid showing, along with 2024 Catholic (Baton Rouge) passer Daniel Beale Daniel Beale 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Catholic (Baton Rouge) | 2024 State LA . LSU coaches had Bradley working with the upperclassman, and his strong arm and quick release fit in well with an impressive group of the Tigers’ out-of-state targets.
Ty Lee Ty Lee 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Lafayette Christian | 2024 State LA — 6-0, 165 DB — Lafayette Christian (2024)
The Knights’ 2024 class has started to blow up of late with SEC offers for Melvin Hills III Melvin Hills III 6'4" | 265 lbs | DL Lafayette Christian | 2024 State LA , Ju’Juan Johnson Ju’Juan Johnson 6'0" | 195 lbs | ATH Lafayette Christian | 2024 State LA and Sandy Lewis. And Lee garnered his first two the past two days from Marshall on Wednesday and Southern after a nice camp showing Thursday. He’s rangy with quick, strong hands to redirect receivers on their release and should be among another impressive recruiting class coming through Lafayette Christian with more offers to come.
Jonathan Bax Jonathan Bax 6'3" | 235 lbs | LB Edna Karr | 2023 State LA — 6-3, 235 LB — Edna Karr (2023)
The recent Southern Miss commitment has been a long, disruptive pass-rusher for the Cougars the past two years and moved well on his feet Thursday back-pedaling and changing directions during footwork and coverage drills.
Lemar Harris — 6-3, 205 ATH — Amite (2023)
One of the next intriguing prospects coming through football-rich Tangipahoa Parish was one of the best-looking athletes.
Rodney Brown Jr. — 6-1, 185 ATH/RB — Jewel Sumner (2023)
and Antonio Dyson — 5-9, 155 ATH/RB — Jewel Sumner (2024)
Another pair of Tangipahoa prospects from a program less known for producing Division-I talent than Amite or Kentwood, but Brown and Dyson will be two additions to watch for in the next rankings update and two under-the-radar athletes to watch this fall.
