These young men traveled from all over the states to attend this Mega Camp to showcase the work they have been putting in, in front of 70+ college football scouts! The Michigan based QBs showed up in numbers and put on a clinic!!! Here’s of list of the top Michigan QB performances:
Colin McKernan Colin McKernan 6'2" | 180 lbs | QB Brighton | 2023 State MI – Brighton 2023
Let me start by saying… this dude is THE REAL DEAL!!! The off season Colin has been having in unreal, climbing up every scouts watch list and absolutely out balling out at every event he is at. The Brighton Bulldog’s off season started out by winning the trophies this winter with both Legacy White during the 7v7 winter league, as well as taking home the hardware at the Pylon 7v7 tournament back in April. Beside the pure talent this young man has… Colin also posted a 1350 SAT score with a 4.01 GPA… Come on man! Colin’s arm talent is eye grabbing with the first ball you see him throw. Quick release, placement and timing are all weapons this kid has in the toolbox. Colin is really starting to grab scouts attention and I think with a great senior campaign, this dude is going to have offers by the truck load.
Axel Newell Axel Newell 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Orchard Lake St. Mary's | 2025 State MI – Ovid-Elsie 2025
This young gun doesn’t look or play like a 2025! The sophomore to be has been gaining mad attention from college coaches with his 6’4 frame and his cannon for an arm. Axel recently received his first D1 offer from the University of Toledo and after his performance on Saturday… Kent State might be next. Newell has straight up power! The deep ball, not a problem, and the touch and feel his has for his underneath throws are a thing of beauty. Entering his sophomore campaign, watch for the young gun to keep doing what he has been doing… balling out!
Robert Lalain Robert Lalain 6'4" | 220 lbs | QB Divine Child | 2023 State MI – Divine Child 2023
This big dog is built for Saturday football. With his 6’4 220lb frame, Lalain is just as smooth and quick in the pocket as his fellow QB prospects, making him an absolute nightmare for opposing pass rushers. Lalain has been at the top of a lot of colleges recruit list, receiving special invites to camps and having scouts come watch him at throwing sessions all off season. Lalain, a 3.7 GPA student at Divine Child is the type of QB you want in your locker room, smart, hard working and loves the game. Watch out for Divine Child this season as their signal caller is on a mission.
