These guys have already flashed ability on film, but I personally believe they are going to have monstrous senior campaigns, and college recruiters are going to take notice. Here’s who you need to know!
TE: Tyler Porte Tyler Porte 6'6" | 245 lbs | TE Grand Rapids Christian | 2023 MI , 6’6″ 230, Grand Rapids Christian
A natural hands catcher with excellent concentration through traffic. Porte is extremely effective off play-action due to his patience and deceptive route-running ability. This young man catches everything within his frame and is dominant, working the intermediate part of the field. He needs to continue to improve as a blocker, but his size, pass-catching ability, and overall athleticism make him someone who I believe could have a big senior year.
OLB: Luke Aniel Luke Aniel 6'3" | 200 lbs | DL Eisenhower | 2023 MI , 6’3″ 200, Utica-Eisenhower
A high motor pass rusher that plays with violent hands. Luke shows a great first step and is extremely quick through interior gaps. He’s quite twitchy off the edge and will eat up 1 on 1 blocks if a slide is away from him. He knows when to get his hands up if he can’t get to the quarterback and is awfully disruptive on twists & stunts.
DB: Torrence Greene Torrence Greene 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Ann Arbor Huron | 2023 MI , 5’11″ 180, Huron
A soft-handed safety prospect that sees the quarterback like a hawk and will go get the football. On tape, Greene shows outstanding burst & terrific range. He’s a physical tackler who can come to balance, shimmy, and bring ball carriers down in space. He has the footwork to play all four defensive back spots and has the top-end speed to run with just about any wideout.
TE: Jax Wilson, 6’5″ 240, Hartland
A true mismatch who knows how to use his body as a weapon on the goal-line as a pass-catcher. He shows some pop behind his punch and can easily bend at the knees & ankles. Jax shows consistent hands in traffic and can adjust his hands to make catches on poorly thrown balls. I think he’s going to create some serious YAC in 2022 and sneak up on some people on the recruiting trail.
TE: Jake Macphee, 6’5″ 230, Bad Axe
Jake quickly turns on the jets after the catch and can outrace linebackers and defensive backs to the corner. This young man shows impressive body control and will barrel through arm tackle attempts like it’s nothing. He’s proven that he can be a vertical threat over the top and is a ferocious blocker inline. Jake’s also shown some suddenness on the defensive side and has proven that he can track down ball carriers from behind with his speed.
DB: Corey Webb, 5’10″ 165, Martin Luther King
A hard-nosed safety that loves contact. Corey is quite instinctive and shows polished footwork. Webb is smooth in zone coverage and has a great feel for route concepts. He’s comfortable playing man in the slot and has awfully disciplined eyes.
Other Names to Watch

LB: Daniel Geter, 6’2″ 205, Cass Tech
DB: Lamont Gordon Jr., 5’9″ 175, River Rouge
