Gregory saw some time last year with Magee’s varsity team. He is 5’9 155lbs and can flat out fly. He runs a 4.49 and plays running back for the Trojans. He is an Under Armour All American and is rated number three in his class on most platforms.
Braeden is a shifty running back who makes his name off of his speed. At this point of his career he can truly help Magee on sweeps and screens. At his size you don’t want to bang him up too much with him being that young. He still has a lot of weight to gain. Outside zones and off tackle plays will be the best options for Gregory. He can get to the edge and truly heart defenses.
Gregory is also very great at catching the ball out of the backfield. He has been very impressive this summer in 7v7 showing off his ball skills. He will be a great addition for the Magee Trojans. He already holds an offer from Southern Miss.
Andrew ’Juboo’ Winfun is a name that may not be well known, but he is a stud. North Pontotoc is lucky to have this 6’ 190lb work horse.
Juboo will be a Derrick Henry style running back. He will be a guy that can give you 25 yards a game. The older he get the more he will pound and wear down linebackers who meet up with him in the hole. This kid is very strong and already has lots of vision.
Juboo is also very helpful in the passing game. He can catch the ball out of the back field and get yards. With him being a kid who has played multiple positions on the pee wee and junior varsity level he has great ball skills. He also understands the game and is helpful in pass blocking. He isn’t selfish. He gives his all even when his number isn’t being called.
Dereon Albert Dereon Albert 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Jackson Academy | 2026 State MS from Jackson Academy will be a force to be reckoned with. He is 6’2″ 260lbs and brings a mean edge to Jackson Academy’s interior defensive line.
Albert is a major load to move at the defensive tackle position. This guy is a nightmare for offensive lineman that line up in front of him. He is very strong and stays low on the line. He isn’t a guy that comes off the line high. He is well trained and knows how to play the position. He understands his assignments well. He uses quick hands and gets off blocks when he finds the ball carrier.
Albert is also useful in the pass rush. With him being elusive he can stunt and help linebackers come through free on blitzes. He also can put a nice rush on the quarterback himself. Albert will put a lot of people on notice this year.
Preston Ashley Preston Ashley 5'11" | 160 lbs | DB Brandon | 2026 State MS isn’t new to the islands he will be on this year. The 5’11″ 155lb corner from Brandon is hip to talent and it is in his bloodline to be a baller. His father and two uncles all played for Power 5 schools.
Ashley already has a lot of confidence at his position. He is a guy that corner back coaches love to see. He has that swag that corners need when they step on the playing field.
Preston is very flexible with his coverage. He is a guy that can get up close and press. He has great technique with his press coverage. He doesn’t use the wrong arm causing his body to be off balance. He doesn’t lunge out causing him to be in position for a receiver to run right by him. This shows that he uses his instincts along with his football IQ to play the position. He isn’t a guy that guesses in coverage.
