*No Particular Order
Will Wilson Will Wilson 6'3" | 225 lbs | LB Tualatin | 2023 State OR 6-3 215 LB Tualatin- A lot of credit to Northern Arizona for being the first D1 to offer. Wilson is my #2 ranked LB state wide and has a stock which continues to sky rocket. I could see multiple mid major and PAC 12 programs getting in the mix.
Jordan Fisher Jordan Fisher 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB Westview | 2023 State OR 5-8 170 RB Westview- Maybe the fastest rising recruit in the state of Oregon. A talented evaluator recently said he had some Lamichael James in him, for which I would agree. With multiple Big Sky’s offering, expect the mid majors to be next. Among 700 athletes at the Northwest Showcase at Western Oregon last week, he may have been the MVP.
Andrew Walker Andrew Walker 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR South Medford | 2023 State OR 6-1 180 ATH South Medford- The fastest kid in Oregon has a lot of people talking. His recent state title in the 100 meters and 10.61 time speaks for itself. Walker was one of the only underclassmen to earn 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football last season. His recent offer from PSU could be the first of many.
Calvin Macy Calvin Macy 6'2" | 200 lbs | LB Lake Oswego | 2023 State OR 6-2 200 LB Lake Oswego- Credit to Eastern Washington and the Ivy’s who extended the early offers to Macy. He went off as a junior earning 1st team all TRL accolades and has one of the highest ceilings of any athlete in Oregon.
Kevin Cassidy Kevin Cassidy 6'6" | 270 lbs | OL Mountainside | 2023 State OR 6-6 275 T Mountainside- We’ve talked about Cassidy numerous times over the last few months. His recent trips to Oregon St and Stanford helped solidify him as the #1 O line recruit in the state for the 23’ class. With Cassidy it’s not a matter of if, but when universities begin to offer.
Jack Wagner Jack Wagner 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Tualatin | 2023 State OR 6-4 185 QB Tualatin- Wagner was ranked my #7 recruit overall, even before he starting receiving D1 offers. Credit to the Big Sky’s who have come in recently and offered as I could see him being Oregon’s top ranked QB for the class when all is said and done.
Payton Roth Payton Roth 6'4" | 200 lbs | RB Jesuit | 2023 State OR 6-3 190 RB Jesuit- Not a lot of people know about him as he went down early last year with an injury. That said as I could see him being Oregon’s breakout player of the year and leading the state in numerous statistical categories. His multiple 200+ yard performances in limited time last season, to go along with his size, is intriguing.
Zach Wusstig Zach Wusstig 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Jefferson Highschool | 2023 OR 6-1 180 DB Jefferson (2A)- This kid has been off the charts impressive. It’s hard to get recruited playing small town Oregon football, but Wusstig has showed up and absolutely dominated from his DB spot on the camp circuit. Expect him to rank towards the top of the charts positionally when the updated rankings are released.
Brock Thomas Brock Thomas 6'0" | 175 lbs | QB Sheldon | 2023 State OR 6-0 180 QB Sheldon- I don’t think I gave Thomas enough credit, partially due to size. He was nothing short of phenomenal last season accounting for 43 TDs (22 passing, 21 rushing). His recent offers from multiple Big Sky’s speak to his abilities as a QB.
Hogan Carmichael Hogan Carmichael 6'5" | 190 lbs | QB Summit | 2023 State OR 6-5 190 QB Summit- Carmichael doesn’t have the offers yet but has the size and overall athleticism to blow up. It will come down to the remainder of this off season and what type of film he produces this fall, as the Storm should dominate 5A football within Oregon.
Ryan Berger Ryan Berger 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Liberty | 2023 State OR 6-5 280 T/DL Liberty- The CO-Offensive lineman of the year in the Pacific Conference impresses with his size and overall athleticism. His 2nd team all league honors on D speak to his versatility. Look for Berger to make a big jump on the rankings board.
Noah Staley Noah Staley 6'0" | 220 lbs | RB Jesuit | 2023 State OR 6-0 220 FB/LB Jesuit- Easily one of the hardest hitters in the region. Staley plays out of position on defense because he is physically dominant. Much like current Oregon St FB Logan Horton, Staley could rank as one of the nations top fullbacks.
