Players are getting an idea of what is working for them as far as their training and diets are concerned. At the same time, new and veteran coaches are figuring out what may or may not be working for them. Whether it is the drills they do, or the scrimmage games played coaches and players are fine tuning their games on the regular. In this series I will be covering as many schools as I can, from as many different classes as I can. ln this article we will take a look at the class 6A Lake Hamilton Wolves.
Justin Crutchmer Justin Crutchmer 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lake Hamilton | 2023 State AR #5

Justin Crutchmer Justin Crutchmer 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lake Hamilton | 2023 State AR is one part of a dynamic duo of running backs for the LHHS Wolves. At 6’0″ 185lbs, the best way that I can describe Justin’s running style is that he runs with intent. Crutchmer displays a relentless mix of power and speed when running the ball. He is a downhill runner who shows solid vision. I personally love this young man’s stiff arm, it’s disgusting. On top of being a really good back, Crutchmer is definitely a player in the passing game as well. Justin comes ready to play on Friday nights and this Wolves offense will surely be a handful.
Kendrick Martin Kendrick Martin 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Lake Hamilton | 2023 State AR #1

Kendrick Martin Kendrick Martin 6'1" | 195 lbs | RB Lake Hamilton | 2023 State AR is one part of a dynamic backfield for this Wolves offense. Martin stands at 6’1″ 225lbs and runs with a mix of speed and finesse and is certainly on his opponent’s radar. Kendrick has great patience and agility, waiting for his lineman to make a hole for him. Martin keeps his legs driving which makes it hard for the opposing defense to bring him down. on film, Kendrick puts his vision on display with making great cuts or exploding through a hole on the defensive line. Martin and this Wolves backfield look to do some major damage to opposing defenses in 2022.
Jamarrion Byrd #36
MLB
c/o 2023
Jamarrion Byrd is a hard-hitting middle linebacker for Lake Hamilton. At 5’10″ 218lbs Byrd puts on a tackling clinic when on the field. His 4.8 40-yard dash and 31″ vertical help make him dangerous all over the field. Jamarrion makes solid pre-snap reads as well as displays good vision when the play is in motion. Byrd has really good lateral movement, shifting his body however it needs to be to square up and make a good tackle. Byrd will be one to watch on this Wolves defense this upcoming season.
Cooper Kindt Cooper Kindt 6'4" | 240 lbs | TE Lake Hamilton | 2024 State AR #89
TE
c/o 2024
Cooper Kindt Cooper Kindt 6'4" | 240 lbs | TE Lake Hamilton | 2024 State AR is not only a big bodied tight end, but he is also deceptively fast. Kindt stands at 6’4″ 240lbs and is just as much a vertical threat as he is a run or pass blocker. Cooper is determined to get the most out of every play and keeps his feet moving until he is brought down or the whistle blows. Kindt is also a danger in the redzone and seems to do a lot of damage there. Bringing down a player of Kindt’s size is easier said than done. Cooper looks to help lead Lake Hamilton to success in the 2022 season.
