Continue ReadingThe young bucks have been working their tails off since they entered the high school ranks and the time has come to launch our first rankings update for the Class of 25’. With this being the first rankings list, changing from only a watch list to a rankings and watch list, we’re going to show love to as many of these young men as possible. In this article series, we’re going to dive into new young men that were added to our database and you should keep a close eye on. Without further ado, let’s dive into Part 3 of our 25’ Rankings New Additions.
Brock Pettaway Brock Pettaway 5'10" | 170 lbs | WR Naperville North | 2025 State IL Twitter
Mr. Pettaway is a young man that was a reliable target for his quarterback during his Freshman Season Campaign. Whether you need him to go up for 50/50 balls on deep shots downfield, secure the catch in traffic, or create separation on the route to win over the top, he’s able to do it all providing insight into the potential that he has moving forward. This young man is an overall playmaker that is one to watch closely as he continues to develop over the next few years.
Kyle Miller Kyle Miller 6'1" | 205 lbs | WR Lincoln Way Central | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Miller is aggressive both in the air attack and in the ground game making sure he’s involved in each. This young man has the potential to become a big playmaker on deep shots downfield going up for 50/50 balls as he came up big for his team in countless situations in his highlights below to keep the chains moving. What stands out the most is his ability to crash block the outside linebacker to seal the edge and can stalk block on the perimeter giving his ball carrier an alley to hit. If he’s able to improve his route running and add to his route tree, he’ll be hard to stop.
Ethan Toosley Ethan Toosley 6'0" | 270 lbs | OL Lincoln Way Central | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Toosley is an offensive tackle that has that aggressive edge to him, which I absolutely love. In a few plays, he’s able to drive block the defensive end back 5+ yards by driving his feet through the block before finishing the play by putting the defender into the dirt. A solid in-line blocker that is only going to continue to hone his craft and develop further. Also provides glimpses of being able to mirror the rushing defensive end and close the door to keep the pocket clean. I’m very interested to see how he performs during his Sophomore Season Campaign.
Chase Hetfleisch Chase Hetfleisch 5'10" | 160 lbs | QB Lincoln Way West | 2025 IL Twitter
When you turn on the film of Mr. Hetfleisch you’ll see he can break long runs when he runs the option. Once he gains the step on the second-level defenders he can use his foot quicks to win the foot race into the endzone for six – this happens on more than one occasion. This young man also showcases glimpses of his ability to put the ball right into the receiver’s basket on deep shots downfield. Even being able to thread the needle at times putting the ball in double coverage and in a tight window for his receiver to haul in the touchdown grab. He has untapped potential yet to come to light, be sure to keep an eye on how he develops over the years.
Chase Jansen Chase Jansen 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Breese Mater Dei | 2025 IL Twitter
Mr. Jansen showcases glimpses of his abilities throughout his Freshman Season Highlights. What I’m most interested to see out of this young man is more of his potential coming to light this upcoming season, specifically with his arm strength. He provides glimpses throughout his highlights of being able to add a touch on deep shots downfield. In one clip he was even able to stand strong in the pocket to get the ball off under pressure right as he took a hit from the rushing defender to keep the chains moving. A young man with a high upside, time will tell how his career unfolds.
