I think there is some serious talent in this group, and I believe they are going to take their game to another level in 2022. If they do, look for their recruiting stock to rise as well.
OL: Avery Gach, 6’5″ 260, Birmingham Groves
This kid can run like a deer and looks to punish defenders on every block. He plays with great knee bend, a low pad level and will roll his hips on contact. He has quick feet as a pass protector and can easily redirect east & west. I think he’ll be a no-brainer Power-Five kid when it’s all said and done.
RB: AJ Hill, 5’11″ 180, Davison
Excellent vision to go with dynamite change of direction. Hill has strong legs and has a knack for finding the end zone in the red area. This kid is so slippery in tight quarters and will put defenders on skates in 1 on 1 tackle situations. Look for a huge sophomore season from him.
ATH: Ronny Johnson, 5’10″ 160, Milan
A blazer who can break a game wide open as a return man. On tape, Johnson is a master of running the buck sweep, calmly waiting for his pullers to get to the perimeter before finding a hole & kicking in the turbos. On the defensive side, Johnson isn’t afraid to stick his nose in there and will look to hit you with everything he’s got behind him.
OL: Robert Mills Robert Mills 6'0" | 295 lbs | DL Muskegon | 2025 State MI , 6’1″ 275, Muskegon
An interior prospect that stays hip to hip on double teams and can help create vertical displacement on a defender. Mills is an adequate puller that shows a little nastiness on initial contact. He takes great angles to blocks and has pretty strong hands for a young prospect.
RB: Vegas Seay, 5’10″ 185, Brother Rice
A patient back that looks to lower his shoulder to cap off any run. Seay is a YAC machine that will run through arm tackles like it’s nothing and drag defenders behind him. He shows plenty of short-area quickness and has the hands to provide value as a check-down option for his quarterback.
ATH: Cailin Scott Cailin Scott 5'9" | 185 lbs | LB Belleville | 2025 MI , 5’11 180, Harper Woods
Despite being only 5’11″, Woods doesn’t let his size faze him one bit and is quite electric as a pass rusher. On tape, he shows some serious lower-body strength and can make you pay with his bull rush. He plays with a non-stop motor and knows how to retrace his steps if he gets too far upfield.
