It’s easy to see why. The Braves are always among the top teams in the nation and this year they have plenty of returning Division 1 talent.
Bosco also added the talents of seven major transfers. Here is a breakdown of the key players that have transferred to Bosco this offseason as of Thursday, June 23.
DeAndre Moore DeAndre Moore 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , WR, Los Alamitos
Moore is the No. 5 overall player in the state according to the Prep Redzone rankings. He is committed to Louisville and is friends with Bosco quarterback Pierce Clarkson Pierce Clarkson 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , who may be the best recruiter in the state. Moore is an elite receiver and safety who will likely be the top target for Bosco along with fellow Louisville commit Jahlil McClain Jahlil McClain 5'10" | 180 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA . He has excellent body control, strong hands and has excellent ball skills on both sides of the ball.

Aaron Williams Aaron Williams 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , DB, Centennial
Williams is another Louisville commit who is a lengthy cornerback. He had 10 tackles and a pass deflection in the semifinals against Mater Dei last season. He joins a loaded secondary with Peyton Woodyard Peyton Woodyard 6'2" | 195 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2024 State CA , Jshawn Frausto-Ramos Jshawn Frausto-Ramos 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , Ty Lee Ty Lee 6'3" | 190 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , RJ Jones RJ Jones 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA and Hunter Nowell Hunter Nowell 6'2" | 190 lbs | DB St John Bosco | 2023 State CA .
Sean Na’a Sean Na’a 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , OL, Westlake
I saw Na’a at the Allegiance camp where he was the best offensive lineman of the day. His opponents almost never got past two yards into the backfield and his footwork was advanced. He will likely be a tackle at Bosco but can easily transition to inside if he needs to. He has offers from Hawaii, Fresno State, Nevada and Utah State among others.
Had an amazing 1st OV this weekend, I want to thank the @SanJoseStateFB coaching staff for the great hospitality they showed to me and my family 💙💛. #SpartanUp pic.twitter.com/dMdYoIDF6C

Raymond Pulido Raymond Pulido 6'7" | 345 lbs | OL Apple Valley | 2023 State CA , OL, Apple Valley
Pulido is massive at 6-foot-7 and around 340 pounds. A few days ago, he announced his top five schools: Alabama, Oregon, Louisville, Arizona and UCLA. He has leaned out a bit over the past year but has still made strides in the weight room and has Power 5 strength.
Eric Denham Eric Denham 6'0" | 195 lbs | ATH St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , WR, Centennial
Denham is expected to be a running back and receiver hybrid for the Braves this season. He caught 21 passes for 435 yards with three touchdowns for Centennial last season. If he plays running back, he joins a backfield with Chauncey Sylvester Chauncey Sylvester 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB St. John Bosco | 2024 State CA and Khalil Warren Khalil Warren 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB St. John Bosco | 2024 State CA . Arizona State and UNLV have offered him and Louisville has shown interest.

Israel Polk Israel Polk 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA , WR, Pittsburg
Polk was the second leading receiver for Pittsburg last season where he played with elite quarterback Jaden Rashada Jaden Rashada 6'4" | 185 lbs | QB Pittsburg | 2023 State CA . He has 15 offers and recently competed at a camp at Ohio State.

Camden Jones Camden Jones 6'6" | 225 lbs | TE Marantha | 2024 State CA , TE, Maranatha, 2024
Jones is the No. 4 ranked tight end in California’s 2024 recruiting class according to the Prep Redzone rankings but some scouts have him higher. He is 6-foot-6, 220 pounds and has been making good impressions on the camp circuit. He has been recruited because of his frame and is still improving as an athlete and Bosco is a big step up in competition from Maranatha, but he has the tools to succeed. Jones has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Colorado and Oregon State among others.
Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins Khristian Dunbar-Hawkins 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Tustin | 2024 State CA , DB, Alemany, 2024
He had a huge breakout performance at the Rivals Underclassman Challenge recently. He breaks on the ball well and has good football instincts. “There were some receivers commenting on the side that they couldn’t get any space against him and he definitely made a big-time statement at the event this past weekend,” Adam Gorney of Rivals said about Dunbar-Hawkins. He is talented enough to be an every down corner for the Braves in their crowded secondary.
