Holden Bass Holden Bass 6'3" | 275 lbs | DL Nemaha Central | 2024 State KS – Nemaha Central, 6’4”, 275, OL, Class of ’24
The top ranked offensive lineman in the Class of ’24 shined in Norman, OK., last weekend. Normally he’s been recognized for his play on offense, but he dominated one-on-one’s on the defensive side of the ball at the University of Oklahoma’s football camp. This was a great opportunity for the Class 2A product to get noticed, and he delivered.
Malik O’Atis Malik O’Atis 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB Shawnee Mission NW | 2023 State KS – Shawnee Mission NW, 5’10”, 165, RB, Class of ’23
The Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars traveled to Emporia, KS., this past weekend and took part in Emporia State’s Team Camp. This is where the 4th ranked running back in the Class of ’23 balled out. O’Atis’ dynamic play was on full display for the Hornets’ coaching staff, and they came away very impressed. Not only was he named the Most Valuable Offensive Player of the camp, but he also earned an offer from the Hornets.
Jack Schneider Jack Schneider 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Blue Valley West | 2023 State KS – Blue Valley West, 6’0”, 175, ATH, Class of ’23
Schneider was a standout two-way player for the Jaguars last fall, but his play at corner has really stuck out so far this summer. He’s recently competed at Lindenwood University ‘s Mega Camp and at Kansas State. Schneider put together some impressive highlights during one-on-one’s at Kansas State, and showed flashes of being one of the top corners in Class 6A this season.
Jeremy Schleicher Jeremy Schleicher 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL Bishop Miege | 2024 State KS – Bishop Miege, 6’3”, 255, OL, Class of ‘24
Bass hasn’t been the only lineman to show out in this early portion of Camp Season, as the 2nd ranked offensive lineman in the Class of ‘24 has also been turning heads. Schleicher has been a stud at both Kansas State’s and the University of Kansas’ football camps. He consistently shut down the opposition during one-on-one’s and previewed what’s to come during his junior year. He is sure to be one of the best guards in the EKL this season.
Aidan Behymer Aidan Behymer 6'5" | 225 lbs | ATH Blue Valley NW | 2023 State KS – Blue Valley NW, 6’5”, 225, ATH, Class of ‘23
Behymer has been a prospect consistently climbing the rankings since he made his debut, and with the summer he’s had so far, he is making a very strong case for a significant boost. Since his solid day at William Jewell’s camp, Behymer has earned offers from multiple collegiate programs. He’s landed on the radar of D-II programs such as Pitt State, Missouri Western State, and Missouri Southern. He even picked up another FCS offer from South Dakota State.
