These guys come from all around the state and all have next-level talent that coaches need to see. Many of these guys have yet to get their first offer, but they all have the ability to contribute to the next level.
WR Brayden Riggins | 6’2″ 185lbs | 2025 | Graham
Brayden Riggins can do anything you ask of him at the receiver position. Fitting the true “X” mold, he is strong in his routes, has reliable hands, and can go up and get the football. Riggins plays strong and doesn’t get knocked off his stem. He does a good job of sinking his hips and chopping his feet on dig/out routes. Possessing good size he also has the hands and athletic tools to outjump defensive backs to haul in touchdowns and sideline passes. Although he was one of the younger prospects out there, he looked like a seasoned wideout against great competition. The 2025 WR might not have any offers, but I see that changing as more coaches get their eyes on him.
WR Ke’Ondrae Fleeks | 6’4″ 175lbs | 2024 | Witchita Falls
Ke’Ondrae Fleeks is an absolute menace when the ball is up for grabs. Fleeks has the vertical ability and elite frame to out-jump two or three defenders. He was flat-out mossing defenders by aggressively attacking the ball. He flat out just wants the football more than any defender. He wins deep with his long strides but can also slam on the breaks to run the short/intermediate routes. Fleeks has a great balance of ball skills to go along with control and sideline awareness. If you’re looking for a talented and aggressive wide receiver, then Ke’Ondrae Fleeks is your man.
CB Jackson Powers | 5’9″ 160lbs | 2024 | Fort Bend Christian
Jackson Powers showed off a very balanced skill set at state. It’s no secret that Powers likes to get his hands on guys early at the line. Out of all the competition I got to see, I’d say that Powers lined up in press more often than any other CB. He’s fearless, embraces the CB1 mentally, and blankets wideouts in coverage. I love his ability to stay in phase and to play the ball once it’s coming his way. He has the quickness, physicality, and technique to play bump and run man, but also the eyes and understanding to be successful in zone. Jackson Powers’ play warrants more looks as he’s technically sound and doesn’t let up a lot of receptions.
WR Jospeh Council | 2023 | Goliad
Joseph Council was the security blanket for his Goliad squad. Regardless of who was lined up across from him, he was able to make catches with guys all over him. Council did an amazing job of sitting in the soft spots in zone coverage, and many of those catches were for first downs. Almost every single one of his catches he had was impactful. In the red zone, it seemed like he was slipping away from the defense as he hauled in several throughout the day.
QB Brady Dever Brady Dever 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Bend Christian Academy | 2023 State TX | 6’2″ 200lbs | 2023 | Fort Bend Christian
Fort Bend Christian Academy is in store for another big year behind gunslinger Brady Dever Brady Dever 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Fort Bend Christian Academy | 2023 State TX . After a dominating 2021 fall where he posted 3,958 yards with 57TD/5INT in the air, he’s continuing to sharpen up his mechanics. Dever throws one of the prettiest deep balls in TAAPS. I’m not exaggerating when I say his deep ball has the arc and placement of a D1 quarterback. Dever has a strong arm with the zip to fit in tight windows as well as down on the sideline. Every throw from him is a tight spiral and in a place where only his WR can get it. Just two days after competing in the state 7-on-7 tournament, Dever picked up an offer from Columbia University.
WR Braylon Gardoni | 5’11″ 180lbs | Fort Bend Christian
Braylon Gardoni has sticky hands to go along with a natural ability to get open. Gardoni works well across the middle with his sure hands and isn’t worried about closing defenders. His QB has a lot of trust in his ability to bring down any type of pass. He has a wide catch radius that allows his QB to throw him open or to throw one up. Braylon Gardoni’s stock has been continuing to grow, as he has some Ivy League interest.
WR Wyatt Jones | 5’11″ 155lbs | 2023 | Tolar
Wyatt Jones was a huge part of Tolar’s success due to his crafty skillset. When you watch him run routes, he climbs up on DB’s toes and wins at the top of his route. Jones has QB-friendly hands that it doesn’t matter the placement, Jones will find a way to pull it in. Jones offers some wiggle after the catch and is overall a TD threat on any given play. Posting 56 receptions, 925 yards, and 15 TD in 2021, Jones’s game is continuing to evolve. I see 2022 being a 1,000-yard season that will garner next-level attention for Wyatt Jones.
