The 2024 Rankings have been updated and there have been several shifts within the list. There have been many players to move up and down within the list, and numerous athletes have made a case to earn a place on the list. Here are the Top 5 ranked Defensive Linemen in the state of Virginia.

 

Makai Byerson Makai Byerson 6'5" | DL Manchester | 2024 State VA | 6’6’’ 220 lbs | Manchester High School

(See Stock Risers) Byerson is the number one ranked Defensive Lineman in the state. A 1st Team All Region and 2nd Team All Metro football player, Byerson shows his athleticism by also being a 2nd Team All Region 6A player basketball. The 6’6’’ Athlete has also been active this camp season, having won the Defensive Line MVP at the Under Armour Elite Underclassmen Camp in May. He has offers from James Madison, Duke, Virginia Tech, Old Dominion, East Carolina, Marshall, and Maryland (which he just received this afternoon.)

 

Anthony Reddick Anthony Reddick 6'2" | DL Phoebus | 2024 State VA | 6’3’’ 220 lbs | Phoebus High School

Reddick is a new addition who is ranked as the 2nd Defensive Lineman and the 10 overall prospect in the state. He was named First Team All State, First Team All
