Here is a look at some of the teams competing.
Los Alamitos
Los Alamitos features USC commits Malachi Nelson Malachi Nelson 6'3" | 195 lbs | QB Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA and Makai Lemon Makai Lemon 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA . The receiving duo of Lemon and Louisville commit DeAndre Moore DeAndre Moore 5'11" | 190 lbs | WR St. John Bosco | 2023 State CA is one of the best in the state. The Griffins also have some defensive back transfers Jeremiah Ingram (Pacifica) and Marcus Parks (La Habra). Ethan O’Connor Ethan O’Connor 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA and Gavin Porch Gavin Porch 5'10" | 160 lbs | ATH Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA are great athletes and St. John Bosco transfer Nehemiah Sagiao Nehemiah Sagiao 6'4" | 215 lbs | LB Los Alamitos | 2023 State CA is an athletic linebacker.
Mater Dei
The Monarchs are once again one of the top teams in the nation. Elijah Brown is one of the top class of 2024 quarterbacks in the nation. Tight end Spencer Shannon Spencer Shannon 6'7" | 240 lbs | TE Mater Dei | 2023 State CA , a recent Texas commit, has been a big target on the 7on7 circuit this offseason. Mater Dei features some athletic running backs that can make plays in the passing game like Ajon Bryant Ajon Bryant 5'7" | 160 lbs | RB Mater Dei | 2024 State CA and Jordon Davison Jordon Davison 6'0" | 210 lbs | RB Mater Dei | 2025 State CA . Santa Margarita
Santa Margarita was excellent on the passing league circuit last season with quarterback Jaxon Potter Jaxon Potter 6'4" | 180 lbs | QB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA and big receiver Niko Lopez Niko Lopez 6'3" | 210 lbs | WR Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA . I like a pair of their other receivers Ty Benefield and Bain Eiseman Bain Eiseman 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Inglewood | 2024 State CA . Santa Margarita has a great secondary full of returners like Ben Durham Ben Durham 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA , Israel Solomon, Donovan Comestro Donovan Comestro 6'0" | 175 lbs | DB Santa Margarita Catholic | 2023 State CA and other skill players Noah Sulick and Blake Wilson.
Chaminade
Chaminade has transfer quarterback and San Diego State commit Javance Tupouata-Johnson Javance Tupouata-Johnson 6'4" | 200 lbs | QB Chaminade | 2023 State CA . Defensive back Marquis Gallegos Marquis Gallegos 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA has offers from Nebraska, Oregon, Oklahoma and Michigan among others.

The Inglewood players have been making a splash this offseason for the Premium passing league teams. Tight end Jamari Johnson Jamari Johnson 6'5" | 250 lbs | TE Inglewood | 2023 State CA is one of the most physically impressive players I saw this offseason and is committed to Louisville. Terrell Bradshaw Terrell Bradshaw 5'9" | 175 lbs | WR Inglewood | 2024 State CA has been one of the fastest rising receivers this offseason and has offers from Louisville and Missouri among others. Khalil Peart Khalil Peart 6'3" | 220 lbs | DB Inglewood | 2023 State CA is a talented defensive back who transferred to Inglewood from Sierra Canyon.
Mater Dei Catholic
Mater Dei Catholic won a state championship last season and has a ton of talent returning at the skill positions. Jeremiah McClure Jeremiah McClure 6'2" | 195 lbs | WR Mater Dei Catholic | 2023 State CA , Chris Snyder Chris Snyder 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Mater Dei Catholic | 2023 State CA , Surahz Buncom Surahz Buncom 6'4" | 175 lbs | DB Mater Dei Catholic | 2023 State CA and Nico Mosley are talented pass catchers. Dominic Nankil Dominic Nankil 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Mater Dei Catholic | 2023 State CA returns at quarterback and has an offer from New Mexico State.
Sierra Canyon
Josiah Phillips Josiah Phillips 6'4" | 185 lbs | WR Sierra Canyon | 2023 State CA is a talented two-sport athlete who plays receiver for Sierra Canyon. Terrell Cooks Terrell Cooks 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Sierra Canyon | 2024 State CA is a quality running back who can make plays in the passing game and running game.
