Michael Towner Michael Towner 6'2" | 230 lbs | LB Vigor | 2023 State AL Jr. 6’2 230 RB/OLB 2023
Towner is easily one of the more underrated edge rushers in the state. He shows outstanding strength, speed, and the ability to wreck games. With an elite first step, Towner can get the jump on opposing linemen and jump gaps in the run game. He shows excellent fluidity when making moves and getting around bigger guys. However, Towner is a bull who plays bigger than his listed size. He displays a mean bull rush and the ability to shred blocks at an elite level. He uses his wingspan perfectly to maintain leverage and control against blockers. Towner also flashes nuance with counters and swims moves to switch things up. Lastly and most importantly, Towner’s football IQ is outstanding. His ability to pick up on screens, options, and perimeter plays allow him to play faster while being in control due to him knowing where he needs to be. Look for Townsend to be the leader of the team and name that could creep into D1 status.

Micah Debose Micah Debose 6'5" | 315 lbs | OL Vigor | 2025 State AL 6’5 315 LT 2023
Debose may be one of the more underrated linemen in the state, but he indeed provides protection and value as the anchor of the Vigor offensive line. With elite size, Debose shows solid quickness, enabling him to keep speed rushers from his QB. He also has elite grip strength and the ability to move mountains in both the run and pass games. Besides his size and athleticism, his motor is elite, and he always finishes plays and goes until the whistle. Look for Debose to be a dominant force in the fall and lead the way for the offense.

Arenza Davis 5’10 230 DE 2023
Though he’s undersized, Davis embraces physicality at the point of attack. He shows a vicious mentality when shredding and using his hands to beat blockers to the spot. This same mentality is seen when he tackles. It seems he’s always trying to send a message and make his presence felt when he gets to the ball carrier. Though he’s a dominant force due to his power, Davis is also effective off the edge with speed. He has a solid first step and an excellent dip move he uses when attacking Qbs in passing situations. This low center of gravity makes him challenging to block. With going up against Micah Debose Micah Debose 6'5" | 315 lbs | OL Vigor | 2025 State AL daily in practice and his competitive spirit, he looks for Davis to be a leader of the defense and continue to make a name for himself through the fall.

Jerrian Graham’s 6’2 180 WR/RB 2023
Graham is an old-school possession receiver that will win the preciseness and timing on his routes. Though he isn’t a burner, he understands positioning and how to generate space for his quarterback to throw to. He shows a solid change of pace to throw DBs off track and is deceptive in his movements when running double-move routes. Graham is also an excellent blocker who’s an asset in the run game. With last year’s leading receiver graduating, look for his opportunities and production to skyrocket.
Faron Brown 5’11 175 FS/WR 2023
Brown is a safety with the versatility to move around the defense as a sub linebacker and nickel corner. He excels at run support and always seems to be able to mitigate gains at the second level. He does a solid job of flowing to the ball, acting as an extra linebacker, and using great fundamentals in open-field situations. Brown also is solid in zone coverage. He has enough speed to be a cover one roamer and cover ground in a mid-zone assignment. Look for Brown to be a key player that will make plays and erase mistakes whenever there’s a breakdown at the line of scrimmage.
