Charter Oak (Covina) athlete Solomon Davis Solomon Davis 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Charter Oak | 2023 State CA announced his commitment to Arizona on Wednesday.
Davis visited Arizona last weekend and committed during the visit. Arizona has recruited hard in Southern California the past two seasons and the highly-ranked 2022 recruiting class was something that Davis liked about Arizona.
As a corner, he has good hip movement and has the explosiveness to be in the hip pocket of any receiver he covers in man coverage. As a receiver, he has burst and smooth hands. Greg Biggins of 247Sports said that Davis is a Power 5 level prospect on both sides of the ball.
Davis also had offers from Cal, Colorado, Northern Arizona, Ole Miss and Oregon among others. He is the sixth player from California in Arizona’s 2023 recruiting class.
