Tyrique Johnson (2023) | 6’1 T | Frederick
Johnson is a traditional mauling tackle. Despite not being the tallest tackle he still has great size. He is a fantastic run blocker that does a good job of driving defenders off the ball. He also has the ability to turn defenders away from the hole. He is very strong and he uses his strength to overpower defenders. Johnson is a solid tackle that will help anchor Frederick’s offensive line.
Zach Kiester (2023) | 5’10 G | Linganore
Kiester is a stud. He is a very technical offensive lineman. He has great technique in pass protection. He has great footwork and does a great job of getting his hands inside of defenders. He is also physically strong as well on top of very technical. He displays power when he is blocking defenders. He also has good body control and is able to turn defenders and take them away from the play. Kiester is a top lineman in the state and will help lead a dangerous Linganore offense.
Mikey Ayers (2024) | 6’0 G | Linganore
Ayers is more of a traditional power run-blocking guard. He fires off the ball hard and fast. This allows him to drive defenders off the ball and drive them back. He does a great job of finishing off his blocks and preventing defenders from shedding his blocks. He plays violent and seems to enjoy contact. Ayers is a good prospect that will only get better as he gets bigger.
Chase Haught Chase Haught 6'2" | 290 lbs | DL Oakdale | 2023 State MD (2023) | 6’2 T | Oakdale
Haught is a dominant tackle. He has all the tools needed to be an elite tackle. He has great size, great footwork, great hands, and he also has all the physical attributes as well. In the run game, he always seems to win his 1-on-1 blocks and takes care of his assignment. He shows off his versatility in pass protection as he excels at blocking both speed rushers and bigger power rushers. Haught is a tackle that can do it all.
Josh Crummitt Josh Crummitt 6'2" | 280 lbs | OL Oakdale | 2023 State MD (2023) | 6’2 C | Oakdale
Crummitt is the best center in the county. He has very quick hands as he is able to get the snap off and get his hands on the defender in an instant. He is quick and mobile which allows him to be able to block from multiple angles. He also has great balance and does a good job of turning defenders and getting them off balance. Crummitt is a very solid center.
Curtis Wang (2023) | 6’1 G | Urbana
Wang is a perfect guard for a spread offense system. He has great feet in pass protection. He seems comfortable in pass protection and does a great job of staying in front of defenders. He uses his hands well as he fights for the inside position. He is also very mobile, he has the ability to pull and get to the second level. He tends to get a little handsy at times which could lead to some holdings. Overall Wang has the athletic profile and skillset to excel in the modern game.
