Here is a quick look at some of the new additions in this rankings update:
A transfer from East St. Louis, the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Boyd will be a player to watch this season at Cardinal Ritter and figures to be among the top quarterbacks in Missouri in the Class of 2025 going forward. As a freshman getting some varsity snaps for one of the top teams in the state of Illinois, Boyd completed 11 of 20 pass attempts (55 percent) for 171 yards and three touchdowns (without an interception). Watch freshman highlights here.
A 6-3, 305-pounder, Pate will be a player to watch along the offensive line for a loaded Lee’s Summit North squad this fall. The Broncos have a number of big and strong linemen on both sides of the ball, led by one of the best in the country in 2023 Oklahoma commit Cayden Green Cayden Green 6’5″ | 310 lbs | OL Lee’s Summit North | 2023 State MO , and Pate is one of the up and coming players to watch. We’re not sure how much we’ll see him at the varsity level this fall, but he’s certainly a name to remember for the next few years.
A 6-3, 300-pounder, Kindle is a big and strong offensive lineman who has impressed in the weight room this offseason and attracted early interest from college programs. Rock Bridge has a new head coach this season in Matt Perkins, who joined the Bruins after a successful stretch at West Plains, and the program will be one to watch over the next few years.
Russo, a 6-5, 185-pound tight end, is a player we got a good look at during the Troy Buchanan 7 on 7 tournament and he was an important contributor in the Spartans’ runner-up finish. He’s got a good frame, of course, but will need to continue to add strength and weight over the next few years to prepare for college football. He is a three-sport athlete as he also plays basketball and runs track.
Another big and strong offensive lineman (or defensive lineman), Smith is a 6-2, 290-pound three-sport athlete (football/wrestling/track and field) who will be an athlete to watch for Chillicothe over the next three years. Plays with strength and leverage.
