When evaluating quarterbacks, recruiters tend to look for experience and dual-threat capability. DJ Dingle DJ Dingle 6'1" | 170 lbs | QB Wichita Heights | 2023 State KS of Wichita Heights possesses both, and could be an effective signal caller at the next level. Dingle’s development has been noticeable within the past two years, as his numbers drastically improved from his sophomore year to his junior year. His senior year is looking to be even better with some key pieces returning for the Falcons’ offense. Dingle has received interest from a few programs, but the three-year starter is sure to gain more with a strong season.
Nolan Bevan Nolan Bevan 5'6" | 160 lbs | RB Valley Center | 2023 State KS – Valley Center, 5’6”, 160, RB

If there was a list of most explosive seniors in the state, Nolan Bevan Nolan Bevan 5'6" | 160 lbs | RB Valley Center | 2023 State KS of Valley Center would absolutely be on it. Bevan may be slept on because of his size, but he’s a player that shouldn’t be underestimated. He’s had a busy offseason ahead of his senior year. Some notable highlights include running a 10.71 100-meter dash time during track season, and consistently being clocked in the 4.4-4.5 range in the 40-yard dash this summer. He’s also been able to flash his skills as a receiving back at a few camps. Bevan’s speed makes him a dangerous prospect, and it could be a valuable asset for several collegiate programs.
Harrison Brunk Harrison Brunk 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Inman | 2023 State KS – Inman, 6’0”, 170, WR
Twitter: @BrunkHarrison
The Inman Teutons will be a squad playing with a chip on their shoulder this year, and Harrison Brunk Harrison Brunk 6'0" | 170 lbs | WR Inman | 2023 State KS will be a key leader for them on offense. Brunk is sure to play with extra motivation this season to get back to the state title game. He was very impressive as a junior in 2021, as he’d collect 28 receptions for 661 yards and eight touchdowns. His ability to stretch the field makes him a threat on every play. He’ll have to establish chemistry with a new starting quarterback, but he should still be one of the top wideouts in Class 1A this season.
Noah Bruce Noah Bruce 6'2" | 220 lbs | TE Andale | 2023 State KS – Andale, 6’3”, 220, TE
Twitter: @bruce_noah16
The tight end position is absolutely loaded with talent in this senior class. There are multiple D-I prospects that obviously headline the group, but Noah Bruce Noah Bruce 6'2" | 220 lbs | TE Andale | 2023 State KS is a tight end that hasn’t gotten enough attention. Bruce has two key intangibles that college coaches would love, and that is a winning mentality paired with great physicality. He is more than a blocking tight end though. Bruce displays strong hands, a wide catch radius, and the size that presents favorable matchups. He’ll without a doubt be an impact player for Andale this fall.
Kyreese Groen Kyreese Groen 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Hays | 2023 State KS – Hays, 6’1”, 175, ATH

Every season there are always overlooked players that almost seem to come out of nowhere and surprise everyone. Kyreese Groen Kyreese Groen 6'1" | 165 lbs | ATH Hays | 2023 State KS is looking like a prospect that will have that type of impact during his senior year. Despite having a limited role as a junior, Groen still managed to accumulate over 200 yards receiving and over 200 yards on the ground. He made a big play just about every time he touched the ball in 2021. Which is very encouraging because he’ll have the ball in his hands significantly more this season. Hays is looking to have Groen take over as starting quarterback this year, which could present many problems for opposing defenses.
