Kameran Shanks 5’10 165 WR
Shanks is a bonafide home run hitter and one of the state’s elite playmakers. With next-level speed and burst, you can simply get the ball in his hands and watch the magic happen. He can stretch the field vertically as a receiver and take the top off the defense even if they’re in deep shell coverages. Displayed great ball tracking skills, made tough catches, and adjusted to throws. Can get loose on screens, slants, pitches, and other perimeter-based plays that stretch the defense. Elite elusiveness in the open field can make guys miss with an ability to stop on a dime, maintain his speed after his cuts, and continue to gain yards in situations where most guys would get tackled. In addition to his playmaking skills as a receiver, he offers value as a return specialist that can take it to the crib or set up the offense with field position. Look for Shanks to be e the leading playmaker and catalyst of the offense in the upcoming fall.

Omarion Parks Omarion Parks 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Prattville | 2023 State AL 6’0 190 RB
Parks is a one-cut running back with a solid vision, burst, and power. He cuts well off of blockers and can gain steam quickly when advancing to the second level. He runs above his frame and shows tremendous contact balance. Parks seems to break tackles and excels at gaining yards after contact. Offers functionality as a receiver out the backfield and can be productive as check down option and third-down back. This versatility will keep the offense unpredictable and create big plays from play-action and quick game passes.

Carmelo Smith 6’3 287 DT/NG
Smith is an interior rusher with grown man size and enough strength to anchor a defensive line. With solid technique on his bull rush and the grip strength to move mountains, Smith often looks like a man amongst boys and an anchor in the run game. In addition to his power, the big fella can move. He’s very light on his feet and was used as an occasional edge rusher – which is rare for someone his size. Showed burst and mobility on stunts, running down plays on the perimeter, or chasing down QBs for effort sacks. Smith’s size and production will anchor the Lion defense and be a factor in the 7A area.

Tyce Khatri 6’1 225 OLB/ILB
Khatri is an athletic linebacker that plays with speed and physicality. He has enough speed to flow sideline to sideline, shoot gaps, and run down plays, in addition to his strength to engage with blockers and make big hits on ball carriers. Kharti’s ability to make plays as a run stopper is versatile and would be an asset in any defense. He can get between tackles and take on physical runners or break down and make stops in the open field against speedier ball carriers. With a next-level frame and athletic profile, Khatri possesses a high motor and is always near the ball. Look for Khatri to be a consistent second-level playmaker and enforcer in the run game.
