Continue ReadingMichel is in line for a huge 2022 season and has put together a very productive Spring and Summer for Eagle HS and will be one of the big time parts of a loaded defense this Fall. He is a sure tackler that can make plays in the backfield and scapes well laterally while taking on blockers with violence and punch. Taking good angles in the open field and a very smart linebacker, he is a next level player that should continue to draw college interest through his final season.
Walker is a violent and physical 4 down defensive end that can also kick inside at the next level and is stout against the run while also flashing some power rush abilities in the passing game. Off the ball, he creates immediate knock-back near the LOS with a solid lock out and violent shed while controlling blockers with strong inside hands. Offensively, he is athletic in space and can block and catch the ball in the short area while offering blocking abilities out of the backfield and is a solid athlete overall.
Trenkle is a D-III+ player that plays with a high motor and is seemingly always around the ball and making plays. Able to shoot the gap in space, take good angles in the open field and is a sure tackler, he can also apply pressure off the edge with pass rush abilities and bend. Having a nice frame and a strong build, he has a good floor in college and should draw interest in the coming months.
Highlights
Bordner is one of the hardest hitters across the region and is a in the box thumper that brings violence at the POA and can tackle in the box. A vertical thumper, he plays with a low hat and has a natural nose for the ball while showing good COD/lateral agility in the short area. Going into the Fall, he is one of the top inside linebackers across Idaho and should have no problem finding a home at the next level.
Chiles is a bit undersized for the position but is very athletic in space, covers well in the slot and shows fluid hips in transition with a quick trigger when breaking to the ball carrier. Not afraid to put his head in the mix and thump, he excels near the LOS and sniffs out screens/draws quickly while able to evade blockers with quickness and bend. He also offers nice position versatility on the back two levels.
