This is going to be a long series of new additions to our rankings to make sure that each young man is highlighted. That being said, there are P5 caliber recruits down to D3/JUCO recruits. The moral of the story, each of these young men did the work and deserved a spot in our rankings. We’re here to highlight their hard work. Without further ado, let’s take a look at Pt. 7 of our New Additions to the 23′ Rankings.
Mr. Ritter is a defensive back that can work as a cornerback and safety. This young man can disengage the stalk block on the perimeter to secure open field tackles in the flat which he does with his closing speed. What stands out about this young man is his ability to plant his foot and trigger downhill quickly in run support as he can fly to the ball. He’s used in kickoff as well where he further showcases his closing speed to limit the yardage gained. Overall, this young man is primed to have a big season this fall and I’m very interested to see how he produces.

Mr. Wolf works as a 7 tech where he doesn’t give up on the play by taking backside pursuit flat down the line of scrimmage to secure the tackle for minimal gain. His quickness off the ball is one to keep an eye on and he flashes his closing ability to secure sacks in his pass rush. Overall, this young man flashes his high motor and ability to play through the whistle. Keep a close eye on this young man as I’m anticipating more of his untapped potential to come to light this fall.
Mr. Kuhl is a safety that flashes his ability to cover sideline to sideline as he’s not afraid to jump routes resulting in pass breakups or contested catches on deep shots downfield. If by chance he gets beat on the seam route, he has the recover speed to close the cushion and put himself back in a position to make a play on the ball – at times being able to get his head around to secure the interception too. Let’s not forget about his ability to get involved in run support where he can close quickly on the ball carrier to secure open field tackles. This is seen both in the flat and in open space. Overall, I would keep a close eye on this young man this fall season as I believe his best ball is on the horizon.
Mr. Hyland can work as a Z receiver where he has a long catch radius to secure the catch, even with a defender draped over him. In the run game, he can crack block the outside linebacker as well as stalk block on the perimeter. Both of which he keeps his feet driving through the whistle creating an alley for his halfback to hit. Overall, this young man has high potential heading into this fall season and I’m very interested to see how he produces in the air game. Be sure to keep an eye on this young man and St. Laurence.
Mr. Nesbitt can work across the defensive line as a defensive end as well as a defensive tackle. Both of which he can slip blocks and shoot gaps to disrupt plays in the backfield on a consistent basis. His ability to plug gaps and hold gap control is one to keep an eye on. What’s impressive is his ability to hold down the C gap at the snap during his pass rush before closing on the quarterback trying to escape the pocket. Overall, this young man has good size standing at 6’3 235 which he uses to his advantage in run support.
Mr. Waldinger is a cornerback that can peel off the deep shot downfield and trigger downhill to secure the tackle in the flat just as the receiver secures the catch. What stands out about this young man is how he can handle himself in one on one coverage. When he’s covering redzone fades, he can play the man over the ball and is able to contest the 50/50 ball resulting in pass breakups. If he gets beat for a second he flashes his recover speed and fluid flip of his hips to get back in a position to make a play on the ball. Overall, this young man is a long defender standing at 6’3 170 and has room to grow/add to his frame.
