This is going to be a long series of new additions to our rankings to make sure that each young man is highlighted. That being said, there are P5 caliber recruits down to D3/JUCO recruits. The moral of the story, each of these young men did the work and deserved a spot in our rankings. We’re here to highlight their hard work. Without further ado, let’s take a look at Pt. 8 of our New Additions to the 23′ Rankings.
Mr. Byrnes works as a 7 tech where he can generate pressure on the quarterback when he comes off the edge with his speed rush. When he comes on his speed runs he uses his active hands at the point of attack to turn the corner and once he does he can close quickly to secure the sack on the play. In run support, he can hold down C gap control before he disengages the block. Once he does, he can secure the tackle in the C gap and can crash down the line of scrimmage to meet the ball carrier in the B gap for no gain. Either way, he’s able to get his nose in the play when plugging gaps in run support.
Mr. Woods works as a 1 tech and has some power to him. This is seen when he bull rushes in his pass rush as he can jolt the center upright before he drives the center back to collapse the pocket generating pressure on the quarterback. What stands out the most about this young man is his ability to shoot into the A gap to meet the ball carrier in the hole at the line of scrimmage for no gain on the play. This is especially seen in goal line situations where he can keep the ball carriers out of the endzone. Overall, keep an eye on this young man’s run stopping capabilities as he has the potential to develop into a two-gap defender.

Mr. Valenzhela works as a safety that can trigger downhill quickly in run support to secure open field tackles and he does so by using his foot quicks to close quickly. At times, he can work as a two high safety. This is where he uses his fluid flip of his hips to cover deep shots downfield on seam routes. By doing so, it puts him in a position to make a play on the ball and go up for 50/50 balls to contest the catch and at times he can come down with the interception. Overall, this young man can play across the different defensive back positions and I’m interested to see how he produces this fall.
Mr. Blizniak is a tight end that’s quick off the line of scrimmage and isn’t afraid to go up for 50/50 balls to secure the contested catch. This young man has good breaks at the top of his routes and can adjust last second to secure the catch along the sideline. Once he secures the catch, he plants his foot and gets vertical gaining extra yards on the play. He can also line up in the slot at times to get the mismatch against the outside linebackers.
Mr. Vigerust can line up as a 3 tech, a 7 tech, as well as an outside linebacker. In the first clip in his highlights, he fires off the ball showcasing his power as he drives the offensive lineman back and is able to fully extend to secure the tackle for loss once he penetrates the backfield. What stands out about this young man is his ability to close quickly on the ball carrier in run support. When he does so, he puts himself in a position to secure the tackle either for no gain at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield for a tackle for loss. This young man can also slip blocks to disrupt plays in the backfield. Overall, standing at 6’0 205, I’m interested to see what position he molds into at the next level. With that being said, keep an eye on him this fall season.
Mr. Vrabec is a cornerback that can go up for 50/50 balls to contest the catch. When he does he can either come away with the pass breakup or come down with the interception. This young man also flashes his fluid flip of his hips which he uses to limit the chances of him being broken off at the top of the route. In run support, he can secure open field tackles and can square up to the ball carrier before securing the tackle. Overall, I’m expecting this young man to see his stock rise after this fall season and I look forward to seeing how he produces.
