Although some top prospects have already decided, most top athletes still weigh their options. This article will outline 6 top prospects from Michigan, discuss where they are in their recruitment, and if there’s any inkling as to where they’ll end up.
One of the most sought-after recruits in the nation and the #1 TE in the country, Brady Prieskorn Brady Prieskorn 6’6″ | 230 lbs | TE Rochester Adams | 2024 State MI is going to be able to play anywhere he wants. From Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Oregon, teams from every corner of the US are calling. Considering Prieskorn has only recently burst onto the scene after an incredible State Championship performance, I expect the offers to keep rolling in, and for Brady to take his time throughout this process. For now, he and Adams are looking to shock the world again and make it back to Ford Field.

One of the best DB’s in the Midwest, Jacob Oden Jacob Oden 6’0″ | 185 lbs | DB Harper Woods | 2024 State MI is rumored to be staying in-state come next fall. With both Michigan and Michigan State fighting over Oden, I’m extremely interested to see where he ends up going, when the decision will be made, and why he chooses where he chooses. Or you never know, he could shock all of us and go out-of-state to schools like Cincinatti, Notre Dame, or others that have sent out an offer.
One of the best players on a powerhouse 2021 State-Champion program, Jeremiah Beasley Jeremiah Beasley 6’2″ | 200 lbs | LB Belleville | 2024 State MI is an elite defensive ATH prospect that has given little information on his recruitment. Throughout the summer, Beasley has visited Ohio State on June 21, Tennessee on June 28th, and Michigan State July 30. Without much other information, the best we can do is enjoy his game and allow him to weigh his options.

With 21 Division 1 offers, Isaiah Marshall Isaiah Marshall 6’0″ | 210 lbs | QB Southfield A&T | 2024 State MI has his pick of the litter on where he’ll be attending college. As one of the best dual-threat QB’s in the country, his play is a hot commodity and with steller play this coming season, I expect more colleges to come calling.

Another Elite athlete wanted by many division 1 programs, Jamir Benjamin Jamir Benjamin 5’10” | 175 lbs | DB West Bloomfield | 2024 State MI has given little information on where he’s leaning. With a recent visit to Northwestern, I think it’s safe to say he’s enjoying the process and weighing his options now, and he’s not at a state where he’s ready to announce his commitment date. We’ll just have to see where he lands, and stay posted on any new information.

Don’t underestimate the big Saline TE. In fact, his offers are just a tier below Prieskorn but I firmly believe Dylan and Brady are on near-equal footing in terms of talent. As it comes to his recruitment, he’s got some big in-state connections with an offer from Michigan State, a recent Michigan visit, and Ohio State camp visit. If Mesman performs how I believe he will, many more offers will be on the way. Dylan Mesman Dylan Mesman 6’5″ | 220 lbs | TE Saline | 2024 State MI ‘s recruitment is one that I have a close eye on.

Conclusion
There are so many more athletes yet to make a decision, and in general, the 2024 class is the first class that I’ve dove head-first into. I know this class better than any other, and that makes me so much more excited for these student athletes’ stories. See you all tomorrow!
