Greenville Christian School has seen that work out for them in football and basketball. Here are a few transfers I think may help some teams out this year.
Garrison Davis Garrison Davis 5'11" | 190 lbs | QB Holmes County Central | 2025 State MS , 5-10 180, QB, Ridgeland, 2025
Garrison will be joining two of the best receivers in the state at Ridgeland. Garrison will be doing both passing and running with the football this season. However it is the passing game that Coach Dyess is excited about. On several occasions he has mentioned that Garrison may throw for 3000 yards this season. It won’t be far fetched when you consider the fact of how good their receivers are. Garrison has been training hard this off-season preparing to be the QB that Ridgeland needs him to be. He is coming over from Brandon.
Isaiah Autry Isaiah Autry 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Itawamba Agricultural | 2024 State MS , 6-6 275, OL, Itawamba, 2024
Isaiah already has multiple D1 offers. This year will be a big year for him. He will have the chance to show off his skills at a bigger class of football than what he has played in. Autry will bring a great level of experience to their team. He has been around the country playing against some of the best talent and learning from some of the best coaches. Itawamba lost in the third round of the playoffs last season. MS Gridiron has them picked to go to the state title this season. This transfer is going to be very big for Ty Davis. He has a guy that knows how to protect QBs joining their team.
Mack Howard Mack Howard 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Oxford | 2023 State MS , 6-2 190, QB, Oxford, 2023
Oxford has gotten the highest ranked QB in the state of MS. Mack Howard Mack Howard 6'3" | 175 lbs | QB Oxford | 2023 State MS was recently named a Dandy Dozen. Like one of my good friends says, business is about to pick up! Mack is going to be able to be a game changer for the Chargers. He is a guy that will light up the scoreboard with great passes. He is a born leader that will also bring more excitement to the Chargers. His experience at the next level could be what Oxford needs to get to the big house.
Trip Maxwell Trip Maxwell 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Hartfield Academy | 2023 State MS , 6-2 190, QB, Hartfield Academy, 2023
Trip is headed from Oxford to Hartfield Academy. He has been working very hard to improve his game this off-season. This will be a very important season for Trip. It is the time for him to prove that he can be a QB at the next level. Hartfield has some nice talent and the addition of Trip is going to be very helpful to their plans every Friday night.
Layth Holiday, 6-0 170, WR/DB, Itawamba, 2023
Layth is headed to Fulton with his teammate Isaiah Autry Isaiah Autry 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Itawamba Agricultural | 2024 State MS . It is going to be a very fun season for Itawamba. They already have a very good team and he will only add to that. He is going to be able to help out on their offense and defense this season. Layth can pick off passes and take them to the house or he can line up at receiver. His versatility will have coaches on both sides of the ball smiling from ear to ear.
