Austin Brummels Austin Brummels 5'10" | 185 lbs | LB Sioux Falls Jefferson | 2024 State SD – LB/RB, 5’10” 176lbs, Junior
Brummels is a force on both sides of the ball, no matter which way you slice it. Brummels wining lining up as halfback is an agile rusher who finds holes and if he does not find one, he makes them. Brummels can force his way into any alley or hole that he can find or make on his own. He is a tenacious runner who puts his head down and powers through any runner he finds in his way. On the other side, Brummels is a coverage expert and can read anything that he finds coming his way. As a defensive back, he can apply for solid press coverage and cause offenses to shift around the pressure that he is applying to his team. Dowd, while not having any true area of expertise, excels as someone who plays hard at a high level and his stats, as well as his abelites, translate into that.
