Dorman has a new coach and a new-look offense for the first time in 30 years, but Friday looked very much like old-school football. Demarius Foster Demarius Foster 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Dorman | 2023 State SC ran wild for the Cavaliers, with 306 yards and two touchdowns on just 20 carries. Behind a mammoth offensive line with D1 commits Markee Anderson Markee Anderson 6'5" | 280 lbs | OL Dorman | 2023 State SC and DJ Geth DJ Geth 6'4" | 300 lbs | OL Dorman | 2023 State SC , Dorman rolled up 521 yards of offense, including 381 on the ground. DJ Porter got into the act for the Cavaliers as well, throwing a TD, catching another, and notching 89 offensive yards on just two touches.
At Byrnes, Colby Shaw got his tenure as QB started off with a bang. Shaw threw for 318 yards and four TDs as the Rebels demolished Brookland-Cayce. Kyai Cook Kyai Cook 5'11" | 180 lbs | WR Byrnes | 2023 State SC was his main target, pulling in nine catches for 110 yards and two scores. Chamarryus Bomar Chamarryus Bomar 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Westside | 2025 State SC had a big night with 85 yards and a touchdown, and Miquel Dingle Miquel Dingle 6'2" | 210 lbs | LB Byrnes | 2023 State SC turned in 8.5 tackles, a sack and 2.5 tackles for loss on the defensive side of the ball.
How about a helmet sticker for Clinton’s offense? Yeah, all of them. The Red Devils churned out 497 yards on the ground and 647 yards of total offense. Bryson James led the way with eight carries for 159 yards and four scores, Austin Copeland threw for 150 yards and two more TDs, but it all started up front, with Naiim Mays, Jay Martin, Rion Gordon Rion Gordon 5'10" | 230 lbs | OL Clinton | 2025 State SC , Dequavius Dendy, and Dre Aiken paving the way.
Kamajay Brackett-Brannon showed just how dynamic he can be as Broome’s new QB. He accounted for more than 300 yards of total offense, including 148 on the ground and 160 and a touchdown through the air.
KJ Proctor had a big night at QB for Chesnee in a shootout against Blue Ridge. Proctor threw for four TDs, including a pair of scores to Adonis Burgess. Burgess’ two scores were on his only two catches of the night, but he had a huge night in the backfield, rushing eight times for 143 yards and a score.
