Khalifa Keith Khalifa Keith 6'1" | 220 lbs | RB A.H. Parker | 2023 State AL 6’0 225 RB A.H. Parker
Keith has officially committed to the University of Kentucky! The A.H. Parker product held offers from Georgia Tech, Florida State, South Alabama, and the University of Memphis. Keith’s next-level size and athleticism make him a can’t-miss prospect amongst a solid class of running backs. With a 220+ pound frame, Keith shows burst and quickness in the open field. Despite his size, he’s still a home run hitter that can make big plays in space with his cutting skills, contact balance, and pad level. Despite his quickness, Keith still uses his size to gain yards after contact, convert short yardage/goal line situations, and be an every-down back. Look for Keith to thrive in Kentucky’s run-centric offense when his opportunity comes.
Rickey Gibson Rickey Gibson 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB Hewitt Trussville | 2023 State AL 6’1 175 CB
Gibson is a lock-down corner who has narrowed his list to three schools. With Tennesse, Penn State, and the University of Georgia being front runners for his services, the 4-star shows the pedigree of an SEC-caliber defensive back. With great fundamentals in both mand and zone coverage, he is a true lock-down corner that takes away a side of the field. He can be physical at the line scrimmage and is very effective in bump and run, showing great patience and the ability to react to routes. In zone coverage, he’s fluid in his backpedals, great at reading Q.B.’s eyes, and tracking the ball when covering vertical routes. He always generates deflections/ interceptions and prevents big plays on his side. He also isn’t afraid to help out in run support. It’ll be exciting to see where Gibson lands because wherever he goes, he has the tools to represent the state well.
Kaleb Harris Kaleb Harris 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB Thompson | 2024 State AL 6’1 190 FS Thompson
Harris earned an offer from Michigan State last week and added it to an impressive offer list that includes Central Florida, Jackson State, and LSU. The Thompson product shows all the tools to develop into a quality player safety at the next level with his size and skill set. He’s instinctual when getting downfield and pursues the ball with aggression. Harris also takes great angles and is always able to be the last line of defense and make stops on plays that could’ve been touchdowns. With very solid fundamentals when making open field tackles or setting the edge, he can be used as a sub-linebacker due to his strength against the run.
Clyde Curry Clyde Curry 6'3" | 160 lbs | WR Gadsden City | 2023 State AL 6’3 160 WR Gasden City
Curry is an explosive playmaker out of the slot and one of the more underrated receivers in the state. With a recent offer from Murray State, University of North Alabama, and Alcorn State this week, Curry seems to have gained traction in his recruitment process. Whoever can land him is possibly getting a diamond in the rough. He shows tremendous burst and acceleration along with his track star speed- making him a monster after the catch and liable deep threat whenever he’s on the field. In addition, he has an instinct when making plays in space and a frame that’ll mature as he grows into his body. Outside of his physical tools, Curry shows a solid foundational skill set. He does an excellent job of using his hands against press coverage to keep himself clean and can make tough catches despite getting hit. With a 6’3 frame, he has a solid catch radius and can develop into a solid contributor at the next level. Look for Curry to continue to make plays and gain more offers as the season progresses.
