With barnburners, 1-point contests, OT thrillers, and dominant individual performances all over the map, I’ve had my hands full finding 50+ top performances from preps all around the Midwest. Whether it’s a 600+ yard passing and 8 TD performance from Illinois, a 400+ yard, 80% completion passing game that netted 4 TDs out of Nebraska, some crazy, three-phase, small-school performances that shattered stat lines, clutch special team kicks and punts, and broken school records highlight just a few of the outstanding individual efforts from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Illinois
Lleyton Miller Lleyton Miller 5'9" | 160 lbs | RB Decatur Lutheran | 2024 IL (Decatur Lutheran/Mt. Pulaski) 2024. ATH. Look at this crazy stat line. In the 58-56 victory over Milledgeville the junior absolutely went off and posted 35 rushes for 608 yards and 8 TDs!
Logan Smith (St. Joseph-Ogden) 2024. QB. In the 42-12 win over Nokomis the junior was 11-14 for 302 yards and 2 TDs.
Max Lynch Max Lynch 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Pana | 2023 State IL (Pana) 2023. ATH. In a 35-21 win against Southwestern he went 11-20 for 177 and 3 TDs and rushed 18 times for 194 yards and another TD.
Adam Muench Adam Muench 6'2" | 195 lbs | DB Amundsen | 2023 IL (Amundsen) 2023. WR. The 6’2, 200 pounder rushed 3 times for 31 yards and caught 6 passes for 124 yards and 4 TDs.
Jerry Reed (Schlarman) 2025. WR. In a 54-52 win against Ashton-Franklin Center the sophomore rushed once for a 55 yard TD and caught 5 passes for 187 yards and 3 more TDs.
Breden Revermann (Breese Central) 2023. WR/DB. Had a full stat line in the 21-6 win against East Alton-Wood River and caught 4 passes for 49 yards, 2 tackles, and 3 interceptions, plus two returns for 35 yards.
Indiana
Josh Ringer Josh Ringer 6'1" | 190 lbs | RB East Central | 2024 State IN (East Central) 2024. ATH. In EC’s win Mr. Ringer posted 31 carries for 338 yards and 6 TDs.
Chase Jones (Tecumseh) 2023. RB. Against North Posey the senior rushed for 309 yards and 3 TDs and added 11 tackles on defense.
Nic Yatsko (Terre Haute South) 2024. DB. Had a heckuva individual defensive effort against Northview to the tune of 22 tackles, a PBU, and a FF. THS got the dub.
Drayk Bowen Drayk Bowen 6'2" | 215 lbs | LB Andrean | 2023 State IN (Andrean) 2023. LB. The Notre Dame commit rushed for 203 yards and 3 TDs and added 17 tackles and a sack as Andrean took down Hobart High School.
Kyle Turanchick Kyle Turanchick 6'0" | 180 lbs | RB Oak Hill | 2023 State IN (Oak Hill) 2023. RB. The 6′, 185 pounder rushed for 192 yards on a 9.1 YPC average for 4 TDs as Oak Hill took down Frankton. Also recorded a sack and a TFL.
Brad Schultz (Triton Central) 2023. WR. The playmaking wideout caught 7 passes on 7 targets for 238 yards in a half of play against Cardinal Ritter.
Tony Flatt Tony Flatt 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Covenant Christian | 2023 State IN (Covenant Christian) 2023. QB. Was all over the field last weekend. Was 11/21 for 162 yards through the air, 43 rushing yards and 2 TDs, 17 tackles, a PBU, and half a sack.
Carson Terrell Carson Terrell 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Northeastern | 2023 State IN (Northeastern) Senior. QB. In the week 6 Centerville matchup the quarterback was 18-26 for 265 passing yards and 3 TDs plus 62 rushing yards and another on the ground.
Iowa
Kade Mullins Kade Mullins 5'11" | 195 lbs | RB Martensdale-St.Mary's | 2024 IA (Martensdale St. Mary) 2024. RB. 5’11, 195 lbs. The 8man stud posted 20 carries for 242 yards and 5 TDs against Murray in their week 5 contest.
Elijah Porter (Ankeny Centennial) 2024. 5’11, 175 lbs. In a 31-28 win against Sioux City East the junior totaled 224 all-purpose yards and 3 TDs on a 7 yard per carry average and 16.3 yard per catch clip.
Brennan Hayes Brennan Hayes 6'0" | 170 lbs | RB Creston | 2024 IA (Creston) 2024. RB. Against Knoxville High School the junior rushed 21 times for 433 yards and 2 TDs.
Joren Fisher (Union Community) 2024. RB. 5’9, 160 lbs. In a 54-19 win at Jesup the RB posted 301 rushing yards, 29 receiving yards, 6 TDs, and an interception.
Kansas
Brayden Kunz Brayden Kunz 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH Conway Springs | 2024 State KS (Conway Springs) 2024. RB/LB. In a 43-13 victory over Medicine Lodge the 6’2, 200 pounder rushed for 331 yards and 6 TDs on 34 carries.
Jesse Greenly Jesse Greenly 5'11" | 220 lbs | RB Atchison | 2023 State KS IV (Atchison) 2023. RB/LB. The 5’11, 220 lber. posted 15 carries for 175 yards and 4 TDs as Atchison took down Schlagle.
Sam Parks Sam Parks 5'9" | 150 lbs | K Maize South | 2024 State KS (Maize South) 2024. K. The junior hit 3 touchbacks on kickoff, was 4/4 on PATs, and hit a 50-yard FG vs. Newton High School.
Harvey Zimmerman Harvey Zimmerman 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Trinity Academy | 2024 State KS (Trinity Academy) 2024. QB. Was 20-36 for 325 passing yards and 5 TDs plus a rushing touchdown on the ground in a loss to Hesston.
Tate McNew Tate McNew 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Maize South | 2025 State KS (Maize South) 2025. QB. Put up 323 passing yards on 28 completions (39 attempts) and 2 TDs in a 34-14 win over Newton.
Omari Elias Omari Elias 5'10" | 200 lbs | RB Kapaun Mt. Carmel | 2024 State KS (Kapaun Mt. Carmel) 2024. RB. Broke his school’s single-game rushing record with 363 yards in a big win over Westminster. Also scored thrice.
Daimont Mucker (Valley Center) 2024. RB. Rushed for 318 yards and 4 TDs against Campus High School.
Cooper Hajek Cooper Hajek 6'2" | 215 lbs | ATH Nemaha Central | 2023 State KS (Nemaha Central) 2023. RB. The repeating stat monster recorded 4 carries for 128 yards and 4 TDs plus 8 tackles on defense in two quarters of play.
Michigan
Tyler Herzog Tyler Herzog 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Avondale | 2024 State MI (Avondale) 2024. QB. In his week 5 matchup with Pontiac the junior threw at an 80% completion rate and 150 yards and 2 TDs through the air plus 70 rushing yards and 3 more TDs with his legs. This was all in just a half of play.
Brayden Clark (Constantine) 2023. RB. In the 60-21 win against Watervliet the senior rushed 19 times for 204 yards and 5 TDs. Also added 8 tackles on defense.
Landon Galea (Atlanta) 2025. WR. In a 40-20 win against Whittemore-Prescott the young buck rushed twice for 27 yards and caught 8 passes for 263 yards and 5 TDs plus 8 tackles, a TFL, a FF, and two fumble recoveries.
Braylon Davenport (Clawson) 2023. RB/LB. Was a big part in the tight 17-14 victory over Hazel Park the 6’1, 205 pounder rushed 11 times for 65 yards, caught a pass for 3 yards, posted 19 tackles, 2 TFLs, and an interception.
Neil Ihme (Glen Lake) 2023. WR/DB. Posted 2 catches for 60 yards, 8 tackles, and 3 INTs in a loss to East Jordan.
Missouri
Anthony Ransburg (Raytown) 2023. WR. Against Fort Osage the senior caught 8 passes for 163 yards and 3 TDs.
Spencer Ward Spencer Ward 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH Nixa | 2024 State MO (Nixa) 2024. ATH. Against Joplin, Ward recorded 22 tackles, 75 return yards, 21 rush yards and a TD on the ground.
Ramone Green (Nixa) 2023. RB. In the big win against Joplin the senior stat monster rushed 35 times for 306 yards and 5 TDs plus 4 catches for 38 yards.
Colton Nichols (Hallsville) 2024. RB. In a beatdown of Eldon, the junior rushed 25 times for 234 yards and 5 TDs.
Jaxon Miller (Orrick) 2024. ATH. The 6’1, 185 lb. non-11 man contributor rushed 27 times for 357 yards and 6 TDs as Orrick beat Northwest/Sacred Heart 68-22. Also added 9 tackles on defense.
Brody Langfitt (Pattonsburg) 2023. ATH. Despite a high scoring loss to Stanberry, Langfitt was 6-7 through the air for 143 yards and 2 TDs and added 14 tackles on the defensive side of the ball.
Nebraska
Carson Kudlacek (St. Cecilia) Senior. QB/DB. In a 41-0 beatdown of Grand Island Central Catholic the senior went 24-30 for 423 yards and 4 TDs.
Trey Richert (Nebraska Lutheran) Senior. QB. Had a crazy stat line in the 44-34 win against High Plains as he was 20-28 for 290 yards and 2 TDs and added 12 rushes for 101 yards and 5 TDs on the ground. Also posted 8 kickoffs for 412 yards and 7 touchbacks.
Drew Erhart Drew Erhart 5'10" | 155 lbs | QB Palmyra | 2024 State NE (Palmyra) Junior. QB. The 5’10, 155 pounder was 24-39 through the air for 353 yards and 4 TDs and added 13 rushes for 110 yards and another TD on the ground. Erhart was a big part in Palmyra’s 48-44 win over Exeter-Milligan/Friend.
Carlos Collazo Carlos Collazo 5'9" | 200 lbs | RB Aurora | 2023 State NE (Aurora) Senior. RB. The 5’10, 200 pounder rushed 17 times for 269 yards and 5 TDs in a win against St. Paul.
Elliott Nottlemann Elliott Nottlemann 6'2" | 160 lbs | WR BRLD | 2023 State NE (Bancroft-Rosalie) 2023. WR. The 6’2, 160 pounder caught 14 passes for 209 yards and 3 TDs plus 4 rushes for 35 yards as BR beat Wisner-Pilger 37-36 in what must have been a thriller. Also added 8 tackles on defense.
Gatlin Reimers (Palmer) 2025. ATH. Had a balanced stat line of 12 completions on 20 attempts for 127 yards and a TD, 28 rushes for 128 yards and a TD, 25 tackles, a TFL, and 3 kickoffs for 147 yards and 2 touchbacks. Also one punt for 37 yards.
Gage Hedstrom (St. Mary’s) 2026. ATH. Had one of the most impressive stat lines from this entire week of action as the freshman was 10-13 for 247 yards and 6 TDs, 6 rushes for 14 yards and a TD, and 19 tackles, 2 TFLs, and a PBU.
Aiden Kuester (Neligh-Oakdale) Senior. ATH. Another NE non-11 man standout from this past weekend, Kuestee was 10-15 for 234 yards and 3 TDs, 22 rushes for 237 yards and 7 TDs, 17 tackles, and 2 PBUs.
Ohio
Qierstin Williams (Winton Woods) 2023. LB. Posted 16 tackles, 4 TFLs, and an interception returned for a TD against Anderson High School.
Trey Cornist Trey Cornist 6'0" | 210 lbs | RB Winton Woods | 2023 State OH (Winton Woods) 2023. RB. The Georgia Tech RB commit posted 18 attempts for 342 yards and 6 TDs.
Donovan Harris (Findlay) 2023. WR. Against Fremont Ross the senior playmaker caught 5 passes for 113 yards and 3 TDs.
Santino Harper Santino Harper 5'7" | 195 lbs | RB Akron Saint Vincent Saint Marys | 2023 State OH (St. Vincent-St. Mary) 2023. RB. The 5’9 RB rushed 23 times for 218 yards and caught a pass for 23 yards that resulted in 3 TDs
Wisconsin
Reece Kamrath Reece Kamrath 5'11" | 160 lbs | QB Watertown | 2024 State WI (Watertown, Wisconsin) 2024. QB. Threw for 307 yards and 4 TDs in Watertown’s week 6 matchup with Beaver Dam.
Tyler Sutherland Tyler Sutherland 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Turner | 2023 State WI (Beloit Turner) 2023. WR. Went off for 12 catches for 255 yards and 4 TDs in a tough loss to Lakeside Lutheran.
Trevor Asher (Elmwood) 2023. 5’11, 190 lbs. In their week 6 Boyceville matchup that resulted in a 24-21 win the senior rushed for over 300 yards and 3 TDs.
JP Doyle JP Doyle 6'1" | 190 lbs | ATH Badger | 2024 State WI (Badger) 2024. QB. Against Burlington the OLB/QB hybrid rushed for 272 yards and 4 TDs and added 60 yards passing. Badger got the W!
Colton Brunell Colton Brunell 6'1" | 205 lbs | ATH Columbus | 2024 State WI (Columbus) 2024. RB/LB. 6′, 210 lbs. In a win against Edgewood the Columbus athlete rushed for 241 yards and 4 TDs.
Dawson Rud Dawson Rud 5'7" | 170 lbs | RB Mondovi | 2023 State WI (Mondovi) Senior. RB. Rushed 11 times for 172 yards and 3 TDs, caught 2 passes for 29 yards, and made 3.5 tackles and an interception on defense against Neillsville.
Sean Fogel Sean Fogel 6'1" | 185 lbs | QB Beloit Turner | 2023 State WI (Beloit Turner) Senior. QB. Went off against Lakeside Lutheran the gunslinger was 26/37 for 445 yards and 5 TDs to only 1 INT.
Erik Schmidt Erik Schmidt 6'2" | 195 lbs | K Milwaukee Marquette | 2025 State WI (Marquette University) Sophomore. K. With one second remaining in MUHS‘ game against Sussex Hamilton the sophomore kicked a 51-yard FG into the wind for the win.
