Allers made 10.5 tackles with 2.5 sacks, holding Fisher to 21 carries for 78 yards. Spencer Elliott Spencer Elliott 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Summit | 2023 State OR continues to look like a 5A POY candidate as well, playing lights out on D all year.
Hunter Haines Hunter Haines 6'1" | 190 lbs | DB West Linn | 2024 State OR DB 24′ / Ben Winjum Ben Winjum 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB West Linn | 2023 State OR 23′ LB West Linn- As projected Haines is having a 1st team all-state type season on D making 7 total tackles, with a PBU, and another INT, in the Lions 31-20 win over Jesuit. For the 2nd year in a row Winjum looks like one of the top LBs in the state, making 11 total tackles on the night.
Josh Merriman Josh Merriman 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Sheldon | 2023 State OR DT 23′ Sheldon- For the 2nd week in a row Merriman finds himself on this list as the D tackle has been dominant. In week 3 he had 7 total tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 tackles for loss, in the teams 41-0 shutout win over Sprague.
Kellen Hicks Kellen Hicks 6'1" | 180 lbs | DB Mountainside | 2025 State OR DB 25′ – One of the top ranked Sophomores in the state of Oregon had a clutch INT and took it 25 yards to the house, in the Mavericks 24-7 win at traditional state power Lake Oswego.
D’Marieon Gates DB/ATH 25′ Jefferson- You gotta like Gates. The 5-6 140-pound athlete had the Demo’s only TD, with his 50-yard INT return for a touchdown, in the Demo’s 9-2 win over Roosevelt.
Jerrik Wangler Jerrik Wangler 6'0" | 205 lbs | ATH North Salem | 2024 State OR SS/WLB 25′ North Salem- Another Sophomore who has a stock which just continues to rise. Wrangler has been on this list 2 of the last 3 weeks, helping to pitch a shutout over Roseburg 26-0. His 2 sacks and 1 forced fumble were key.
Darien Witham Darien Witham 5'10" | 170 lbs | QB Thurston | 2023 State OR DB/ATH 23′ Thurston- The returning 1st team all-conference DB epitomizes versatility, playing 4 or 5 different positions on the field well. On Friday he returned an INT for a TD and also rushed for a touchdown in the teams 35-0 win over North Eugene.
Jackson L Babbitt Jackson L Babbitt 6'1" | 175 lbs | DB Springfield | 2024 State OR Safety/RB Springfield- For the 2nd week in a row Babbit stepped up big with 2 INTs, in the teams 33-15 win over #8 Crater. Not long ago the Millers were one of the lowest ranked 5A teams in the state, and now potentially looking to crack the top 10.
Tyler Creswick Tyler Creswick 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Nelson | 2024 State OR DB 24′ Putnam- We have seen Creswick on this list multiple times. One week ago, he scored 2 non offensive TDs. This past week he scored 3, returning an INT for a TD, and also scoring on a punt and kick return, in the teams 36-13 win over a really bad La Salle team.
Treyce Horton DB 23′ Mazama- The #1 4A ranked Vikings blasted #2 Marist 42-7, with Horton doing a little bit of everything. He had 2 INTs, with 1 being returned for a TD. He also had 12 touches for 77 yards and a touchdown on offense.
Oliver Fisher Oliver Fisher 6'5" | 225 lbs | TE Sherwood | 2023 State OR DE/TE 23′ Sherwood- The 3* TE recruit continued to show why he is considered one of the top defensive players in the state, making 5 tackles with a sack, in the Bowmen’s big 47-35 win over then #6 Lakeridge.
Drew Corcoran Drew Corcoran 6'3" | 250 lbs | DL Tualatin | 2023 State OR DL/OL 23′ Tualatin- Corcoran returns after earning all-conference honors on both sides of the ball last season, while looking extra impressive on D this year. He led the T-Wolves D with 2 tackles for loss in the teams 44-7 pasting of Wilsonville.
