At 6’2, 212 pounds and a 4.67 speed in the 40, the senior not only has the talent but the want to succeed. Which makes him tough to stop from making the tackle. Evan feels his strength is filling the gap and his ability to read the play. He also feels that his off field team building and keeping everyone’s spirits up with a goal of winning a State Championship.
He says his personal goal is to earn a Division 1 college scholarship. His academics are also a strong suit while having a cumulative 3.8 GPA and a 4.0 so far this year. He scored a 23 on his ACT.
Evan feels he brings energy on the field as well as in the locker room .
When asked how it feels to be considered the next great linebacker to come out of Greenwood he responded that it’s an honor but says sometimes he feels the weight on his shoulders and with everyone watching. But knowing his teammates having his back makes it easy to overlook.
On Friday night in a conference game against Van Buren Evan had an interception that went for 90 yards and a touchdown to go along with 8 tackles which 2 of them were tackles for losses. Showing college coaches his versatility as a player that he shouldn’t be over looked to go to the next level. For the season in 5 games Evan has 42 tackles in which 6 were tackles for losses, 2 quarterback hurries and an interception for a touchdown.

is a 6’0, 190 pound Defensive Back from Greenwood with 4.5 speed in the 40 yard dash. He loves to hit fiercely on his opponents. He says man to man coverage is his favorite while also liking Zone coverage. Storm has a 3.6 GPA. He scored a 22 on his ACT. He has heard from several Division 2 colleges so far this season.
He says his individual goals are to contribute and benefit to the team as much as possible. While his team goal is to win a State Championship. Storm’s specialties are his pass coverage and closing the distance. His strengths are also his speed, coverage and tackling. He says being one of the leaders on defense is encouraging players when they get down and keeping their spirits up.
Storm says he would like to play both sides of the ball in college but will play where needed. He had 10 tackles last week against Van Buren with 1 being a tackle for a loss. For the season through 5 games he has 35 tackles with one of them being a tackle for a loss.
