The 3* QB is having a 1st team all state season, hitting on 72% of his passes with 14 TDs/4 INTs. As of right now Emerald Ridge looks like one of the fastest rising programs in WA under Schakel’s leadership.
QB EJ Caminong EJ Caminong 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Garfield | 2024 State WA 6-2 195 QB Jr. Garfield
The 3* QB is on his way to being offered by most of the PAC 12 and probably many others. We will find out a lot in the coming weeks when the (4-0) Bulldogs face Eastside Catholic and O’Dea’s D.
QB Blake Springer Blake Springer 6'2" | 210 lbs | QB Monroe | 2024 State WA 6-1 195 Jr. Monroe
The super talented overall athlete was hitting on 70% of his passes with 9 TDs/2 INTs through 3 weeks. The Competition isn’t great in the 3A Wesco but the 3* QB can play.
QB Holden Bea Holden Bea 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Washougal | 2024 State WA 6-2 195 Jr. Washougal
Bea is among the state leaders in multiple statistical categories, including passing yards per game. He has good genes and has earned his 3* status.
RB Brayden Platt Brayden Platt 6'1" | 240 lbs | LB Yelm | 2024 State WA 6-2 230 Jr. Yelm
As noted he has dominated everyone, accounting for 580 yards and 13 TDs on 41 touches (34 carries, 7 receptions) in just 3 weeks. He should be considered a state POY candidate on both sides of the ball.
RB Jason Brown Jason Brown 5'10" | 205 lbs | ATH ODea | 2024 State WA 5-10 195 Jr. O’Dea
One of the best players in the country and the highest ranked athlete in the NW. The 4* back has the potential to be as good as any individual to come through the school.
RB D’Aryhian Clemons D’Aryhian Clemons 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Spanaway Lake | 2025 State WA 6-0 175 So. Spanaway Lake
Clemons broke out as a freshman and has the ability to play on either side of the ball at the highest level. Thus far in 22′ he is averaging 7.6 yards per carry, and 118 yards per game, on 62 rushes. The Sentinels have been playing good football with anticipated match ups against Lakes and Lincoln to come.
RB Matthew Spurbeck Matthew Spurbeck 5'10" | 185 lbs | ATH Sumner | 2024 State WA 5-10 185 Jr. Sumner
Definitely a kid who excels on both sides of the football. He’s been the team workhorse with multiple 100+ yard performances on the season (21-143-2TDs vs Curtis, 22-121 vs Puyallup)
RB Beau Phillips Beau Phillips 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Mount Si | 2024 State WA 5-10 185 Jr. Mount Si
Maybe the most versatile underclassmen in Washington. Through 4 weeks he is averaging close to 175 total yards per game with 6 TDs on 86 touches (77 carries).
RB Navarre Dixon Navarre Dixon 5'9" | 195 lbs | RB Emerald Ridge | 2024 State WA 5-10 195 Jr. Lincoln

RB Brock Beaner Brock Beaner 6'1" | 185 lbs | ATH Anacortes | 2025 State WA 6-0 180 Jr. Anacortes
Anacortes has beaten their four opponents by a score of 160-15 to put the team’s dominance thus far into perspective. Brock is averaging 8.6 yards per carry with 8 TDs in 4 games, most of which are over by half.
WR Luvens Valcin Luvens Valcin 6'2" | 220 lbs | ATH Auburn | 2024 State WA 6-3 215 Jr. Auburn
More than anything Valcin will provide universities with positional options if he pursues football. In the first two weeks he caught 26 passes for 311 yards to put his importance into statistical perspective.
WR Malachi Durant Malachi Durant 6'2" | 160 lbs | ATH Graham-Kapowsin | 2024 State WA 6-2 160 Jr. Puyallup
What could be one of the top WRs in the country for 2024. The 3* athlete is averaging 13.5 yards per catch, with 23 receptions and 4 TDs on the year.
WR Aiden Nicholson Aiden Nicholson 6'2" | 185 lbs | ATH Mountain View | 2024 State WA 6-2 185 Jr. Mountain View
After a breakout sophomore season, Nicholson is getting used to double teams. Apparently he has figured it out, catching 13 passes for 411 yards and 7 TDs in the last 2 weeks. Unreal numbers against good competition.
WR Jaydus Green 6-4 180 Jr. Steilacoom
A state leader in multiple categories you got to like this kids’ overall athleticism and upside. On the year he is averaging 21.1 yards per catch, with 16 receptions and 7 TDs.
WR Trenton Swanson 6-1 185 Jr. Camas
Swanson is having a state POY type season even with the Papermakers at (1-3). Through 4 games he has caught 29 passes for 469 yards and 7 TDs. Kids a player.
WR Xavier Ahrens 6-1 180 So. Curtis
Ahrens has been killin it on both sides of the ball, just recently having a 4 TD game (2 receptions, 2 INTs) in the 42-0 win over Bethel. The future is bright.
WR Adam Tripp 6-2 170 Jr. Ballard
Many aren’t aware as Ballard isn’t your prototypical football power but Tripp can play. On the season he has 24 catches for 448 yards and 4 TDs in 4 games.
WR Khris Norris 6-1 170 So. Graham-Kapowsin
Look for Norris to get better each week and be one of the top WR’s in the state heading into next season. On the year he has caught 11 balls for 160 yards and a TD with GK sitting at (3-1).
TE Hogan Hansen Hogan Hansen 6'6" | 220 lbs | TE Bellevue | 2024 State WA 6-6 220 Jr. Bellevue
The 4* TE has been dominant on every level. After a couple tough losses to Central Catholic (Oregon) and Lake Stevens, the Wolverines have rebounded nicely.
TE Noah Flores 6-4 220 So. Graham-Kapowsin
Flores has the potential blow up. A recent injury will sideline him for awhile but he will back, already sitting with D1 offers. On the season he had double digit catches and multiple TDs through 4 weeks.
ATH Rahshawn Clark Rahshawn Clark 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Garfield | 2024 State WA 6-0 180 Jr. Federal Way
If you get this kid in space it’s over. The 4* athlete is on a different level as the (3-1) Eagles will go as far as he takes them.
ATH Gio Kafentzis Gio Kafentzis 5'8" | 180 lbs | WR Emerald Ridge | 2024 State WA 5-10 175 Jr. Emerald Ridge
As of right now Kafentzis is projecting as a 1st team all state kid on both sides of the football. Last weeks 9 receptions and 156 receiving yards with 3 TDs against Curtis, give him 30 catches for 455 yards and 5 TDs on the season.

ATH Chase Lofton 6-0 160 So. Union
Look for the youngster to be a big time player in the years ahead. Thus far in 22′ Lofton has 21 receptions with 193 all purpose yards and a TD.
