King is one of the more under-rated prospects across the state, but has the speed, size and athleticism to be a big time player at the next level with upside. He erupted last week with 13 catches for 131 yards and an impressive 5 touchdowns against Emmett in a bit of a shootout win. He was unstoppable o n 50/50 balls and used his size all night to dominate press coverage and smaller defensive backs while showing strong hands and highpoint abilities.
RB Ikaika Ho, Columbia HS
Ho is a very talented runner that got off to a hot start racking up 236 yards and found pay dirt twice in their low scoring win over Fruitland. He is a low to the ground strong runner that has lean, good vision in tight windows and can run through arm/ankle tackles in the open field. He is a next level player that should draw D-III and NAIA interest as he progresses through his final season of his high school career.
QB Riply Luna, Kellogg HS
Luna is one of the more talented signal callers across Idaho and is dynamic out of the backfield and when delivering the ball downfield on the run and making big plays out of nothing. Battling it out against Moscow high school, he was in charge the entire game and exploded for 300+ overall yards and an impressive six touchdowns in a lopsided 50-12 win. This performance should not be a surprise for those who have been watching Luna develop over the years as he will be the best player to step on the field most nights.
DB Troy Wilkey, Rocky Mountain HS
As usual, Wilkey was all over the field for the vaunted Rocky Mountain defense and made tons of plays both on the special teams and from his safety position. One of the top defenders in all if Idaho, he blocked a FG, took a interception back to the house and had another punt return touchdown against a quality opponent that has a solid roster in Coeur d’Alene.
Other Impact Players To Note….
WR Jacob Williams, Burley HS
LB Ryder Bordner, Bishop Kelly HS
QB Parker Pettit, Sandpoint HS
