Currently the Bulldogs are 2-3 on the season and are sitting 6th in the 5A Central Conference. Ahead this week they play against the Morrilton Devil Dogs, which is a conference matchup. Looking ahead to this Friday I can see White Hall pulling a win off moving them to 3-3 on the season and 2-2 in their conference play.
Leading the defense for the White Hall Bulldogs we have a couple of key players. One of which is a dominate player at linebacker, Aiden McHan Aiden McHan 6'0" | 205 lbs | LB White Hall | 2023 State AR . Mchan in the first five games of the year has already put up 67 tackles with 12 tackles for loss. Looking over his film here recently I notice that he has good vision and awareness as a linebacker. Overall he’s hungry for the play and knows how to make plays all over the field.
Now, in the trenches, one of the better linemen that I’ve watched in person is Sema’J Walker. Walker is primarily found at right tackle and is dominate with his playing style. He’s a powerful player overall with some great hands and hips to finesse the defender. But he also is a dual player at defensive line. He is a strong player and uses that strength to overpower the offensive lineman.
Another guy in the trenches for the bulldogs is Landen Meredith Landen Meredith 6'3" | 265 lbs | DL White Hall | 2024 State AR . Landen is another big guy that anchors down and also compliments the line play for the Bulldogs. Meredith is a junior with another season to grow and develop in the offseason. He plays both tackle and defensive end for White Hall and is a key player from my eyes. Most of the time he plays stand up end and has good success with it. He was able to get a couple tackles and a sack on defense but, on the offensive side of the ball, he was able to put up a couple of pancake blocks in the nail biter loss to Mills last Friday.
Overall the Bulldogs aren’t a bad team. They have multiple standout players and I believe they have a very solid chance to finish the season in a good spot in their conference. I predict a win against Morrilton this coming Friday. The Morrilton game, in my opinion, will either make or break the season going forward for the Bulldogs.
