For now, we’ll stick to class and tell you a bit about some of the guys we like in each class and give you some information about each of them. You can view our breakdown of the offensive players in the 2026 class here.
Davis Jr. has done it all defensively for the Warriors this season, playing well against both the run and the pass. The hybrid linebacker-safety already possesses great size and strength and has the speed to get into the backfield as a blitzer. He’s solid in pass coverage and scored on a pick six his last time out.
Faulkner has been solid all season but has really flashed as of late. He’s second in the state among freshmen with 50 tackles and he picked up a pair of sacks in his last time out. He’s getting better week to week and like some of the other guys on this list, doesn’t look like a freshman out there.
Highlights
Johnson is one of the top freshmen in the state, leading all freshman defensive linemen in sacks with five. He’s added a forced fumble and plays very consistently for West Meck. He plays both the run and pass well and we’re excited to see how he continues to develop.
Highlights
Clark already possesses great size for a defensive lineman and should continue to add more weight as he grows. He’s racked up 2.5 sacks and over 30 tackles as a defensive tackle this season. He’s also added a couple of forced fumbles and a blocked field goal this season and is a guy we’re watching over the next few years.
