Adams Kennedy, Jackson Academy High School, 6-1 220, LB Class of 2023
Adams Kennedy has been a tackling machine this year in only 7 Games Adams has been flying from sideline to sideline making tackles and ensuring that his opponent respects him as a playmaker. So far on the season, Kennedy has collected 100 tackles and 2.5 sacks. In each game Adams makes nearly 14 tackles showing his commitment to the game and his ability to be a sure tackler. Adams has the skill and potential to be an instant impact athlete at any D1 or D2 level school should they consider him.
Holton Hartzog, Columbia Academy High School, 5-10 160, LB Class of 2023
Holton may not be the biggest athlete but he plays as if he is three times his size. From his Linebacker position, Holton can be seen taking on bigger running backs and linemen while still staying true to his assignments. Whether it is fitting in the run game or dropping in coverage Hartzog has proven that he can be a central piece to a defense and is willing to make the difficult plays on a regular basis. He would be a great addition to defenses looking to add a true tackler.
Tylan Collins, Jefferson County High School, 5-11 180, SS Class of 2023
The Strong Safety position is one of the most versatile positions there is. This individual is asked to be a defensive back and a linebacker at the same time. His knowledge of the defense and coverages needs to be complete in order to be an effective athlete. Tylan Colins has done just that. This season alone Tylan has made 71 solo tackles proving his ability to read the play and react accordingly. When watching Tylan it is clear that he plays with electric energy and punishes the ball carrier with every hit. One can expect Tylan to be ready to make big-time plays and hits at the next level with great efficiency.
