Washington is turning out to be a very intriguing 2025 prospect. So far, he has thrown for 1506 yards and 15 touchdowns on 102 completions of 191 attempts. He’s averaging 251 yards per game, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be slowing down any time soon. Washington is putting on a passing clinic with the help of his leading receiver Max Moss, complementing each other very well, they are both leading the stat books at their positions.
Winston Watkins
Watkins has become a familiar name in the MIAA since taking over the offense in 2021. Through 6 weeks Winston has thrown for 1320 yards and 17 touchdowns, on 88 out of 143 attempts. He averages 220 yards per game and even more impressively, 0 interceptions. Watkins is a veteran in this Geals offense and is performing as such, allowing his go to receiver Trey Goodridge and newcomer Avery Jones to highlight their attributes.
Deshawn Purdie
Purdie is separating himself in the public-school ranks as the clear leading QB recruit. He is dominant week after week showing athleticism and arm talent. Through 5 weeks Purdie has thrown for 1146 yards, 10 touchdowns, 53/97 completions, averaging 229 yards per game. Purdie currently holds an offer from Maryland and from the looks of it by the end of this season he will have a hand full. Don’t be surprised if you see Purdie and the Millers competing in a state championship for a second year in a row .
Camrin Catterton
Catterton is a new face at Broadneck as a transfer from south river. Broadneck was always among the top of the stat sheet in the passing game in 2021 and they were fortunate enough to get another talented QB in Catterton. Already he has surpassed his stats through 6 games last season. In 5 games he’s thrown for 1120 and 12 touchdowns, double his amount from 2021. He is 77/112 averaging 224 yards per game. Catterton does a good job of getting outside the pocket and keeping his eyes down field, he’s very capable of throwing while on the run.
Jack Pellicciotti
Pellicciotti is on fire leading these top 5 passers in touchdowns with 18 and 1 INT. Jack has a calm presence in the pocket and delivers the ball with confidence. He doesn’t waste much time being indecisive, if the throw is not there, he makes the smart decision to take off and gain positive yards. He’s athletic enough to gain first downs and take on tacklers but he is most dangerous in the pocket.
