Prospect/Unit Matchup to Watch:
Two awesome all-around, two-way players clash in Rayborn and Spivey.
The list of prospects is long on both programs. Seeing Rayborn and Spivey perform is worth the trip. If you aren’t into special athletes, the linemen play in this one should grab your attention too. Both teams are coming off rest, and both teams have had time to think about their undefeated record as well. That’s going to change this week, something’s got to give. Wanted to note how impressed I am with Tristan Machado’s growth this season, it shows with each performance he puts on tape. Wish I could attend this one.

Penn Charter will need to keep up with the rest of the IA, two consecutive losses will hurt.
I know full and well how impressive Malvern Prep has looked this year. I really won’t be surprised if Penn Charter makes this a game, even wins it. It’s a testament to the Inter-Ac and how well-coached and developed these programs are. No Inter-Ac team beating another will surprise me this Fall. That being said, Penn Charter will be in a tough spot if they lose to the Friars. They will be tested at almost every level. Colin Schumm will have to deal with a front-seven that is playing out of their mind, as well as a secondary full of disciplined prospects. The PC defense will have their hands full with Skylar Smith alone. Should be fun.

Can a young SCH team matchup with the Fords in the trenches?
A ton of focus has been shined on all of the Inter-Ac outside of Springside-Chestnut Hill. SCH came into last week 2-2, while the rest of the league was undefeated. All SCH did was dismantle a quality PCL team in Father Judge to get them over .500. A win over the Haverford School would propel them back into Inter-Ac conversations. The road ahead is tough, the Fords station multiple towering linemen that overwhelm opponents as the game progresses. SCH’s Aidan McCann is a quality lineman who will deal his fair share of punishment in this one.

Who will separate themselves?
Both Central Bucks South and Neshaminy are in prime position to set themselves up for the playoffs. A fifth victory by one of these programs would do wonders for their stock moving forward. Although the previous week’s outcomes are opposites, it’s safe to say that either team can pull out a victory in this one. Watching Collin Goetter and the rest of the CB South offensive line match up against Buchys and Dunkley would be worth the trip. Each team has some playmakers to work around the trench battle too. Excited to see who comes out of this one.
Chester (7-0) vs. Downingtown West (5-1)

Chester is the real deal, so is Downingtown West.
What a fun matchup here. We all know about the awesome trenchman that Downingtown West deploys along their offensive line. Cooper Young, Ryan Howard, Jake Kvech Jake Kvech 6'5" | 260 lbs | DL Downingtown West | 2024 State PA , all seasoned prospects who have seen a myriad of defenders line up in front of them. They will see Dominic Toy, an equally gifted pass rusher who can actually match the physique of Young and Howard. The Downingtown West defense will have their hands full trying to bottle the Harris twins, two freshman playmakers that have turned this Chester team into real contenders. Two great teams, something’s got to give.
