Caden lit it up through the air in St. Anthony’s win over North St. Paul. He finished the game with 360 passing yards and 6 touchdowns. This was a season-high in yards and touchdowns for the senior QB. Rodkewich has wonderful chemistry with his receivers and it was evident this past week. The Huskies had a tough schedule to start the season, but look to carry this win through the second half of the year. They will match up with St. Paul Como Park this Friday.
Highlights
Max has dominated in his senior season and that continued this past week in a big win over White Bear Lake. He completed 19 of his 31 passing attempts, resulting in 251 yards and 4 touchdowns. Shikenjanski also added 27 yards on the ground with 14 of those coming on a third quarter touchdown run. Max currently leads the state in passing yards and touchdowns, along with recently receiving an offer from Minnesota. Undefeated Stillwater will take on undefeated Forest Lake this Friday in one of the most anticipated games of the week.
Highlights
AJ was getting it done both through the air and on the ground as well. Holy Angels dominated Benilde-St. Margaret’s this past week in a 41-7 blowout behind a standout performance from Boarman. He threw for 237 yards and 3 touchdowns on an efficient 13 of 15 passing. He also carried the ball 11 times for 95 yards and a pair of scores. The Stars are 4-1 and have a great chance to finish as the #1 seed in their section if they keep it up.
Highlights
Cole did not only impact the win over Moorhead with his arm, but also had a great game rushing the ball. He had 23 rushing attempts, resulting in 95 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown scramble where he made multiple defenders miss. Through the air, he racked up 154 yards and 3 touchdowns. Hentges is a player who can bring his team a little bit of everything from behind center. Sartell-St. Stephen will host Alexandria this Friday.
Highlights
Cooper was in the zone in a Friday night comeback win over conference foe Albany. He totaled 261 yards passing including 3 touchdowns to help Princeton erase a 14-0 first half deficit. One of those TDs was a 71-yard connection to Jonah Hviding Jonah Hviding 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Princeton | 2023 State MN to put the Tigers up 28-21 with 20 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Drews has a rocket for an arm and looks to continue Princeton’s stellar season on Friday night vs Foley.
Highlights
Stewartville has a perfect record through the first five games of the season and truly look like one of the top contenders in Class 4A. Ayden is a huge reason why the Tigers have looked so good and he turned in another great performance this past week. He threw for 141 yards and 4 touchdowns, also rushing for 19 yards and a score in the win over Red Wing. Stewartville will look to stay undefeated with a road matchup with Kasson-Mantorville this Friday.
Despite the loss, Gavin showed out in the tough matchup with undefeated Stillwater. The senior quarterback finished the tight 21-28 loss with a whopping 389 passing yards and 2 touchdowns. He found great success in finding his teammates near the sideline on some deep balls and also did a fantastic job using his legs to evade pressure from the defense. White Bear Lake has had a solid season so far and will take on Anoka on the road this Friday.

Carter Reinbold
Mound Westonka is off to an undefeated start to their season so far and Carter has done a great job leading the charge. The junior QB found great success through the air, as well as carrying the ball rushing this past week. He finished the tough win over Fridley with 102 yards and a pair of scores passing, adding 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground as well. Reinbold and the White Hawks will have a Friday night matchup with Highland Park in Week 6.
