The front seven as a whole is loaded in this 2023 class and filled with prospects that will play D-I-D-III college football after their prep careers come to an end.
Miller is one of the top pass rushers across the region and recently locked down his commitment to Idaho. He was a no brainer FCS+ caliber kid and plays with a relentless motor and good physicality both when pass rushing and in the run game. He currently is one of the states leading sack leaders and put together a monster Senior season for Post Falls. Although committed, it would not surprise me if other FCS schools took a hard look and offered Miller down the stretch.
Highlights
Blades is a true plug in the middle of the Kuna defense and should find his home at Mike backer in college. He is a vertical downhill thumper that explodes through contact, can get off blocks violently and fills quickly in the run game. He has solid lateral movement abilities when scraping over the top, and always seems to be around the ball. Currently. he holds offers from Valley City State and Ottawa. He should gather other D-II and D-III interest as we draw closer to the first NSD.
Highlights
Farnsworth is a true safety in the middle of a tough Mountain View defense and has range, speed and natural ball skills on the back end. On tape, he displays that he can play the entire field, covers ground quickly and has a very high football IQ. He shows that he can trigger quickly when breaking to ball carriers, bringing a big thump on contact and is able to bait quarterbacks into bad throws before jumping the route. Having nice length and size, he is a no brainer next level safety and one of the better defensive back prospects Idaho has to offer in the 2023 class.
Albert also runs the ball for Rocky Mountain but could find his home at linebacker in college. He is a tough and physical kid that runs downhill, plugs gaps and breaks tackles in the open field. Offering nice position versatility at the next level, he is a D-III caliber kid that should see small school interest come his way in the near future. Playing for one for one of the top teams across the region, Albert has put together a solid Senior campaign and could have a chance to crack our updated rankings.
Corder has the ideal size, length and range to play linebacker at the next level and can make a impact in college for a team. Mostly playing outside linebacker, he is not afraid to thump in the box, sets the edge well with violent hands and shows some cover abilities in the flats when man on backs/tight ends. A sure tackler, he takes good angles to ball carriers coming off the edge and has some pass rush abilities as well due to his twitch and length. Overall, a balanced and solid player, it will be interesting to see if a school takes a chance on the talented ’23 prospect.
