26. Roman Martin Roman Martin 6'2" | 180 lbs | DB Tigard | 2024 State OR 6-2 170 DB Tigard
SEASON UPDATE: Easily one of the state’s fastest rising prospects. Martin is a very versatile 6-2, racking up 2nd team all TRL honors from his CB position and honorable mention accolades at WR. He could be a top 10-15 recruit before he is done.
27. Tyler Konold Tyler Konold 6'0" | 200 lbs | ATH Canby | 2024 State OR 6-0 195 ATH Canby- One of the leading candidates for Oregon 5A POY honors heading into the fall. He went off as a sophomore, averaging 11.5 yards per carry (1,412 yards/ 123 carries) and earning 1st team all-state honors. As good as he is on offense, he could very well play D at the next level.
SEASON UPDATE: Konold was injured a majority of the season but still projects as one of the top backs in the state and a 5A POY candidate. If healthy look for him to be a 2000+ yard rusher his senior season.
28. Clay Martineau Clay Martineau 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Oregon City | 2024 State OR 6-3 210 LB Oregon City
SEASON UPDATE: Martineau had an outstanding junior season, earning 2nd team WR and honorable mention LB accolades. He’s big and fast, with the numbers speaking for themselves. On the year he caught 39 passes for 488 yards and 4 TDs, while making 63 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks on D.
29. Ryder Swanson Ryder Swanson 6'1" | 220 lbs | DL Oregon City | 2024 State OR 6-1 220 OLB Oregon City- Not a lot of people know about him yet but they will. Swanson was impressive coming off the edge as a sophomore, earning 2nd team all TRL honors. The Pioneers could be the state’s surprise team.
SEASON UPDATE: Swanson impressed on the camp circuit over the off season and earned 2nd team all TRL honors for the second year in a row. Look for him and OC to be talked about often in 2023.
30. Caden Negra Caden Negra 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR Ashland | 2024 State OR 6-3 175 WR Ashland- Negra started as a freshman and had an outstanding off season on the camp circuit. The Grizzlies went winless in 2021 but have one of the best QB/WR tandems in Oregon at the 5A level ( JoJo Harrower JoJo Harrower 6'5" | 195 lbs | QB Ashland | 2025 State OR ).
SEASON UPDATE: Look for Negra to have a big off season and a good senior year. The Grizzlies have struggled going (2-14) the last two seasons, but Negra is legit and brings a lot to the table.
31 Brian Smith Brian Smith 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Tigard | 2024 State OR 6-3 215 TE/DE Tigard- Really like this kid. Smith could climb this list quickly as he has legit size and speed and can play multiple spots on the field.
SEASON UPDATE: If we are projecting a breakout player of the year next season, Smith could very well be it. He has the size and overall athleticism to be a legit recruit, earning honorable mention all TRL honors on D.
32. Nick Sakys Nick Sakys 6'2" | 205 lbs | QB West Linn | 2024 State OR 6-2 210 QB West Linn-Sakys jumped almost 10 spots after hitting on 68% of his passes (32/47) with 5 TDs, in limited time as a sophomore. Even with Leavitt transferring in he should be considered one of the top QBs in Oregon.
SEASON UPDATE: The Lions are in good shape. Sakys returns as one of the top QBs in the state for the class, waiting patiently behind Washington St commit Leavitt. Look for him to be a state statistical leader as a senior.
33. David Hernandez David Hernandez 6'6" | 305 lbs | OL Beaverton | 2024 State OR 6-6 305 T Beaverton
SEASON UPDATE: Hernandez made the move from Tigard and did a good job for a (1-8) Beaverton team. His combination of size and overall versatility (defense) is impressive.
34. Hatimu Letisi Hatimu Letisi 6'0" | 255 lbs | DL South Salem | 2024 State OR 6-0 255 DL South Salem- Letisi jumped almost 30 spots on the board after an outstanding off season where he was dominant. He doesn’t possess prototypical size for the position but his talent counters that.
SEASON UPDATE: One of the biggest disrupters state wide. He is a matchup night mare for most lineman due to his size and strength. On the year he earned 1st team all-conference honors, finishing in the top 10 in sacks at the 6A level.
35. Blake Hurley Blake Hurley 6'2" | 205 lbs | ATH Sunset | 2024 State OR 6-2 195 ATH Sunset- The only sophomore in the Metro League to earn all-conference honors, other than Jace Burton Jace Burton 5'11" | 165 lbs | DB Jesuit | 2024 State OR & Liam Cassidy Liam Cassidy 6'5" | 300 lbs | DL Jesuit | 2024 State OR . Hurley comes from a talented family and looked great over the off season.
SEASON UPDATE: The level is yet to be determined but Hurley will be a good college football player. He was one of the top DBs in the Metro, making 61 total tackles with 3 PBUs and a fumble recovery, while earning 2nd team all-conference honors. Offensively he caught 23 passes for 292 yards and 2 TDs.
36. Sam Kline Sam Kline 6'2" | 190 lbs | ATH Sheldon | 2024 State OR 6-1 190 ATH Sheldon- Another one of the most versatile kids in all of Oregon. He has been successful in his first two seasons at the Varsity level, catching 17 passes with 562 total yards as a freshman. Last year he excelled on D making 30 total tackles, with 7 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks.
SEASON UPDATE: Kline was used more situationally this season after an impressive first two years playing varsity ball. Don’t sleep on him over the off season as he accounted for 16 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and a sack on the year.
37. TC Manumaleuna II TC Manumaleuna II 6'1" | 200 lbs | ATH North Salem | 2024 State OR 6-1 195 QB/ATH North Salem (OFFERS: Oregon, Miami, Florida St, Louisville ) TC will get his shot to prove himself in the 6A Central Valley Conference. He has skill guys all around him so opportunities should be plentiful from a statistical standpoint.
SEASON UPDATE: Just a great kid and super talented overall athlete. With North’s run oriented system, he only passed a few times each game, so it’s hard to know what he is capable of. It will be a telling off season.
38. Parker Williams Parker Williams 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB South Salem | 2024 State OR 5-10 170 ATH South Salem
SEASON UPDATE: One of Oregon’s breakout underclassmen. Williams had 57 total tackles, with 14 PBUs and 1 INT, racking up 2nd team all-conference honors. He could very well be one of the state’s leading receivers next year as well with the graduation of Wusstig and Tinitali.
39. Pierce Walker Pierce Walker 5'10" | 170 lbs | DB North Salem | 2024 State OR 5-10 170 ATH North Salem
SEASON UPDATE: Walker is one of the most versatile athletes in the state for his class, and deserves credit with North’s success in the consolation bracket. Look for him to be a 1st or 2nd team all league kid on both sides of the ball next season.
40. Andy Soles Andy Soles 6'2" | 205 lbs | LB Canby | 2024 State OR 6-2 215 LB Canby- I would expect Soles to be a 5A conference and state POY candidate in the years ahead. He should double his stat line (33 tackles) from a year ago as the Cougars are one of the fastest rising programs in the state.
SEASON UPDATE: The Cougars didnt have the season they wanted to finishing (5-5) but they were young. Soles and Konold will project as 5A 1st team all state guys next year, finishing the season with 55 tackles and 4 tackles for loss.
41. Tyson Hunt Tyson Hunt 6'4" | 220 lbs | LB Tualatin | 2024 State OR 6-4 215 DE/TE Tualatin- Hunt didn’t play much as a Sophomore but has great size and should get in the mix on both sides of the football. He’s definitely an appealing two-way threat.
SEASON UPDATE: Hunt proved himself on both sides of the football, earning honorable mention all TRL accolades. Over the last two years he has learned a great deal from teammates, and fellow big men, Richie Anderson Richie Anderson 6'4" | 225 lbs | DL Tualatin | 2023 State OR , Kellen Hale, and Peter Burke.
42. Mitch Mahlum Mitch Mahlum 6'3" | 240 lbs | LB Liberty | 2024 State OR 6-3 240 OLB Liberty- The son of former NFL vet and head coach Eric Mahlum. There are still a lot of question marks but his upside is through the roof, earning honorable mention all-Pacific honors in 2021′.
SEASON UPDATE: Mahlum comes from a football family and has the potential to blow up with continued progression. He is a well rounded athlete as noted by his kicking ability.
43. Jaylan Moore Jaylan Moore 5'9" | 160 lbs | DB Sherwood | 2024 State OR 5-9 160 CB Sherwood- The 3* DB has garnered praise from many across the state. It was a good move, making the transfer to Sherwood, after earning honorable mention all PIL honors at Jeff as a Sophomore.
SEASON UPDATE: Moore did well against better competition, and was a big reason the Bowmen won another conference title. He will be one to watch over the off season on the 7v7 circuit.
44. Luke Womack Luke Womack 6'4" | 195 lbs | WR Lakeridge | 2024 State OR 6-4 195 WR Nelson- As noted the 3-sport athlete looks the part and has great size and smarts (4.0 GPA). He makes the move to the new HS where he will team with 2nd team all Mt Hood WR Max Kirsch Max Kirsch 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Nelson | 2023 State OR .
SEASON UPDATE: Womack led the conference in INTs and finished tied for 2nd at the 6A level with 5 picks. Look for him to be one of the MHC’s best offensively next season with top QB Avirey Durdahl Avirey Durdahl 6'0" | 185 lbs | QB Adrienne Nelson | 2025 State OR distributing the ball. He earned all-conference honors on both sides of the football in 22′.
45. Tobia Tagliabue Tobia Tagliabue 6'2" | 220 lbs | LB Lake Oswego | 2024 State OR 6-2 220 LB Lake Oswego
SEASON UPDATE: You will hear a lot about Tagliabue in the future as the Lakers were young this season. He stepped up big, earning 1st team all TRL accolades against the state’s best.
46.Connor Cesaro 6-3 190 WR- Cesaro should be a primary target along with the 4* Pugliano, presenting matchup problems for all with their size. He will have big shoes to fill with the graduation of Bryce Dyer.
SEASON UPDATE: One of the SWC’s best this season. Cesaro had an outstanding year, catching 41 passes for 582 yards and 6 TDs, earning 2nd team all conference honors. He could have a big off season.
47. Elias Johnson Elias Johnson 6'3" | 170 lbs | DB Jesuit | 2024 State OR 6-3 160 DB Jesuit
SEASON UPDATE: Johnson had a breakout junior season, racking up 2nd team all-Metro honors, while finishing among the conference leaders in INTs. He could climb this list quick with continued progression as he is a talented DB with size.
48. Sam Keen Sam Keen 6'3" | 290 lbs | OL Springfield | 2024 State OR 6-3 290 OL/DL Marist- As stated numerous times Keen is surprisingly mobile for his size. He earned 2nd team all-conference honors as a sophomore and should be relatively dominant at the 4A level.
SEASON UPDATE: Just a great kid. Keen continued on with his impressive play from last year, being named the lineman of the year within the conference, and earning 1st team all-league accolades on both sides of the football.
49. Cade Gehlen Cade Gehlen 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Central Catholic | 2024 State OR 6-0 175 WR Central Catholic
SEASON UPDATE: The University of Portland baseball commit had a phenomenal junior season, scoring 12 TDs (9 rushing, 3 receiving) while making 48 total tackles on defense.
50. Luke Fahner Luke Fahner 6'1" | 195 lbs | LB Barlow | 2024 State OR 6-1 195 LB Barlow
SEASON UPDATE: Fahner made the move to Barlow after an all-conference sophomore season at Gresham. He earned 2nd team all Mt Hood honors for the Bruins and continues to move up the rankings board.
